Please explain this concept to me. I don't understand this notion. Is it about "waiting" so the guy doesn't think you are easy? Or that it just takes this long for you to feel comfortable enough to have desire for them?

If she gives up the honey on the first or second date I have to wonder how many times she's done this before, since I don't consider myself anything to look at. Plus, from that point on I expect sex everytime I see her and if I don't get sex it's a wasted date. That attitude eventually rears it's ugly head. It needs to work both ways, and she should care how many people I've slept with in general terms. If Dude A slept with 10 girls and had unprotected 10% of the time that's 1 person. If Dude B slept with 50 girls and had unprotected sex 10% of the time that's 5 girls. The absolute chances of catching bad things goes up. I've learned alot about being after countless, instant message chats, 2-3 hour phone calls, etc. If I didn't feel good about the situation I wouldn't be meeting her in the first place.
