warm-up before lifting? And how long?
I warm up on a bike 5-15 minutes and do little streching. Is that enough?
And how I could get more flexibility? Should I strech at home whole body couple times of week? Any suggestions?
I´m so inflexible and it has started irritating me

I just do little stretching. I stretch between sets too...and a bit after. That's all I do. Not sure if that's good or bad, really.

Thats me too. Then I pose and pose after a exercise, to get the blood gushing :fro:

Posing after an exercise is awesome way to really work the muscle...GREAt workout!:D

I do about 5 min of stretching, including making sure I can still do my splits (god help me the day I can't...) I'm always sticking my ass out or some funny movement to stretch out whatever I'm working. Lately I think I've finally figured out how to do a good lat spread so I'm doign that a lot on lat/back days excvept I feel like I'm gonna practically pass out after I do a really good one. LOL.

I usually finish up my training w/ 20 min on the bike.

I've also learned how to really enjoy a good stretch from my cat -- S T R E T CH B A B Y!

If I hadn't trained with someone who encouraged this I would not believe it!

I taught Aerobics for 13 years and worked at the health club.

I always warmed up before stretching. (5 to 12 minutes). It's better
to get your muscles ready. And you will be able to stretch more comfortable.
Stretching can also be a great excercise, (ie yoga).

What you are doing on the bike is great...

:)

Bmom just got the posing thing thru to me and the stretching between sets. The thing is I suck at posing, even basic posing so what is a good beginner video for this? Unless of course Bmom is interested in making me one...
