HGH water retention/allergic reaction?

June15

New member
I started using HGH at 2 IU/day 5 on, 2 off. by the 4th week I had bags under my eyes, my hands were so swollen I had no knuckles! My body was swollen! Feet, legs, face! I went to the doc who said I had a systemic allergic reaction. Can I be allergic to HGH? Or... does HGH make you retain water to this degree? I was thinking of just reducing the dose to 1 IU. Or switching brands. Has anyone heard of this? HELP!

I haven't used HGH yet but from what I have read woman should only start off at 1 iu a day and then slowly build up to 2.

Bump for someone with HGH experience.

I"ve never really heard anything about increasing the dosage slowly. Generally 2 iu seems to be the happy point. Up past 4 iu is not necessary and will result in joint pain. I don't think you would be allergic to HGH - the idea is that you are simply supplementing an existing hormone. But I would take a look at what exactly you are using. The easy way is to stop your cycle for a few days or whatever & see if it is actually the problem. Then I would contact your source if anyone else has had problems with whatever you got. One of the biggest issues with controlled substances on the non-prescription market is the fakes. Or you may have gotten something that is contaminated. Or even look at your needles - they might be contaminated.
