alright fellas. i've finally got a decent paying job so i'll finally be able to afford the kind of diet i want. i went and found out my bmr and amr....

bmr....2194.40
amr....3072.16

my diet will consist of only egg whites, oatmeal, chicken breast, tunafish, wheat bread, and protein bars. i plan on eating anywhere from 2000-2200 calories a day. call me lazy (b/c i am) but i won't be doing cardio. i can't stand running and i don't have access to any equipment. i read that 1 hr of weightlifting burns about 500 calories so i figure that would be enough. i lift pretty hard 4 days a week. also i'm about to start a t3/clen and eca stack. anyway, my main question here is about the calories i'll be taking in. is that enough? or not enough. 2000 per day shouldn't slow my metabolism should it??

First, what are your goals? Diets and calorie intake depend on what you want to accomplish.

No matter what you are doing, 2000 calories is not enough with that amr and bmr. If you wanna cut, take 500 cals less than your amr on workout days. And your regular bmr on rest days.

Cardio is important. If you hate running, you don't hafta run. There is a number of various cardio workouts you can do. Carry a backpack and ride a bike to the grocery store to get your food. Work on the stair master. There's health rider machines and jump roping. Get a couple friends and play a game of basketball, tennis, soccer. Hell, walking is a great fat burner too!

Your diet doesn't seem very complete. You gotta have some fat in your diet, as well as lots of protein and limited carbs. The stuff you listed aren't very high fat foods. Try some nuts, natural peanut butter, flax, seeds, olive oil, don't be afraid of a whole egg (though you wanna limit these). You also might wanna throw in some veggies...mostly broccoli, cauliflower, and the like.

And stay hydrated. Summer is coming...the heat's gonna dry you up if you don't have enough water.

What is the best pre contest diet?

I'm currently dieting down for the Southern States BBC on Aug 4th. I'm going in as a lt. hvy. I'm currentky at 5.5% bodyfat and weigh 201. What would be the best diet to drop to 197 and 4% bodyfat?

smr91481, you might want to check out the German Body Comp workout by Charles Poliquin. Go to www.testosterone.net and do a search. It's made for those who hate cardio, yet want a workout better suited for fat loss. It's a killer though. Charles no longer writes for Testosterone, but you still can find his articles in the archives.
