Having trouble with training and work

Ive heard that one before. but its not so much a lack of time. I can find time. Ive started up a landscaping business. and ive been workin hard for 14 hour days for the last week, since the season started up here. its probably going to reamin like that through may. My shoulders/arms and lower back are being drained huge. And i dont have alot of time to eat.
I can still make it to the gym. but i dont have alot of time. Any suggestions on what i should be doing there, or at home/at work to try and keep the gains ive made?

Your landscaping work is going to give your body a decent pounding throughout the day, so the volume you can do in the gym is going to be minimal, no matter how hard you try. That isn't a bad thing, because you can focus the small amount of time and energy you have to doing what works best.

Best advice I can give you here comes from personal experience. My college summers were spent working like a Mule from dawn till' dusk. I hit the gym @ 5:30 when it opened. Left @ 6:30 and was ready for the day that didn't end until it got too dark to work. That is the only way.
Definitely have a cooler filled of fruit and sandwiches for the day. As long as you increase your calories you will be solid. Think of it like this. Every third house is a quick bite. :) You will need those extra calories as time goes by. Lots and lots of cardio that you don't really expect.

By working long days at a very physical job, you don't have to worry about doing any kind of cardio work in the gym. You burn enough calories at your job. Just keep your workouts short but intense.

I agree with CG. Once your body gets used to it your work capacity will have gone up and you will be stronger than before, so don't worry to much, just do what you can.

rainy days makes the grass and shrubs grow, good for your new business!!!!!!!!!

i'm guessing you are precooking and hitting the gym hard, taking advantage of the rain in this way?

As long as you get the calories in you will be fine. There are plenty of guys at my gym who landscape or are in construction, and one thing I will say is that they are always the most ripped (and have the best tans!!!).

Use the advice above and you should get used to the workload pretty quickly.

Good luck!
