having severe midsection trouble

I have been losing weight now for about 5 months. I have noticed my arms and legs are much more defined. however my chest abs and obliques show minimal loss in fat. Im 6' 3" and 215 pounds. I started at 245 went down to 210, started on creatine and went back to around 218 with a noticable differance in stature. What can I do to increase the fat loss in this area. I play lacrosse, so the running is there, and i do abs 3 days a week. PLease someone help I need a 6 pack by summer ...

Keep doing what you are doing. You cannot target a specific area to burn fat. The rest of your body leaned up first, well, because ... it did. Just keep dieting, keep doing cardio, and be patient.

Go to the diet board, and please read the sticky at the top of the board.

Gettinglarger is right... your body has a genetic propencity to store fat in certain areas. Also, your body stores fat in a particular order. So, lets say your body puts fat on your stomach mostly, and then also distributes some around the rest of the body. It works the same in reverse: that is, if you want to lose fat from your stomach, you have to slim down the rest of the body first before it dips into those stomach stores AS much.

At least, thats how it was explained to me by a nutritionist...
