Groin and squats?

BenchBoss

The weight room at school doesn't have a free weight squat rack, so I use a machine. But now that school's out, I've been working out a local gym, and have been doing free weight squats. While I was doing them, I really felt allot of tension in my inner and lower groin area. I've got flat feet and it's kinda hard for me to point my toes forward when doing squats. But would bringing my toes further in help take some of the tension away from my groin target my quads more (it's not like I didn't feel tension in my quads, I did, and they're sore as hell today!)?

Any help is great! Thanks yall.

You arent required to point toes straight. Some can but alot of people cant. I point my toes out, it makes it easier to push my knees out near the hole.
