Goose Season!

Coming up soon goose and duck season. Can't say that I'm all that successful of a goose hunter but I love getting an early start. Seems to me that everyone forgets about hunting until buck fever hits. I'll be out there

one day i'll take the goose identification class. i was fly fishing the other day and saw a couple of big groups of geese(a gagle?) and started to get excited.

did you take the goose class?

If I had some time available for the goose season I wanted to try hunting them with my SKS. No scopes, only red-dot on it...

never done much goose huntin, but dove season opens here in about 2 weeks, if u have never done this, i suggest u try it, its fun as hell, u have to be a pretty good wing shot to hit this birds, ill probly shoot about 4 or five boxes of shells, the limet is 15, but i usely dont quit unless the game warden is close by. wrap a little bacon around them a throwem on the grill for about 15 or 20 min, yum yum.
