my advice nutrition wise would be to eat a ton of pasta the night before or some oatmeal....or maybe even a shake with 1 cup or 1 cups of oats. you need energy to compete gg!!
You should always drink - even if its just sips. Jen....I can't drink water because my nerves make me have to pee every 10 min lol...but I drink a ton the week before which they say makes a big difference....
