my legs are toast from yesterday too....but i went on the bike for 10 minutes after and that def helped....i'll prob do some elliptical work again today for about 20 minutes...helps with the soreness "active recovery" as sarge called it in my log ")

that's what I was thinking, I have been stretching but it feels like my legs are going to seize up if that makes any sense. going for a walk and to the park with the girls today that should be a nice warm up before the treadmill and soccer.

As well, my hubby told me to try the glutamine again to see what happens.

You know it is bad when at night your dreaming about taking an anti inflammatory LOL.

legs and bett still really really sore
biceps and triceps tonight

10 min cardio
all 4x10
barbell curl 65lbs
dips
hammer curl 25lbs
kickbacks 20lbs
overhead extension 15lbs

soccer practice went better, the kids got to know each other and we had a scrimmage in the middle and we won. I have to say the coach stepped up to the plate a 1/2 hour into practice :rolleyes:

I wole up the other morning with a pain in my left calf, like I'd had a cramp. Only hurt all day, though, LOL.
I've tried the Glut, didn't do much for me, but then, most supps don't. I'm curious to see how it works for you. Do you take it with protein, or between protein ingestions?

I take mine with protein before and after workouts but it doesn't seem to be helping, my butt is still really really sore LOL.

Good news today, tumor has not grown!!! YAHOOO, the sucker measures 3 inches long though, that was kinda shocking, but whatever, it hasn't grown so I am happy and going to celebrate tonight!!!

Sooooooooooo, how's yer heinie today? My back is still tight from my last workout 4 days ago. Not sore, just tight.
I was reading somthing where the Glute & Protein use the same pathways :whatever: to the muscle, so if you take them together, the Glute is just wasted. I'll try to find the article
 
Huge major update.....

1. see trainer monday, competition is a no go for now, might change my mind, might not (but I change my mind like I change my underwear soooo :) ), won't go into details, just not going to happen right now for me so she is going to give me a workout that is better fit for me working out at home most of the time. Yes I am still going to workout can't quit doing that. :) just not going to see my trainer as much

2. course is going extremely well, almost too good, but I guess when you finally realize what you want you work for it.

3. Coach quit my son's soccer team, your looking or reading at (ha ha) the official new coach, and I am taking a course this week on coaching indoor soccer to get aquainted with the rules and such cause I don't want to screw the kids

4. year end is almost done, thank goodness!!!!!! paying our accountant too much money for me doing all this work, but whatever, learning experience.

5. still working at the daycare, for how long, not sure we will see what happens this week

6. getting a cleaning lady cause I can't keep up, I have mixed feelings on this subject as I feeling like I am a failure and a bad wife for not being able to keep up, but at the same time I don't want to spend my days cleaning and not spending time with the family and I am thankful we can even afford to get one.

7. it is snowing here and I have to go take my first test, wish me luck! :)

8. Try to get to everyones logs when I can....miss reading everybodies :heart:

Lady, you have so much on the go, I get tired just reading it, LOL.
I remember when I went to trade school, as an adult, how motivated most people where. It's a big difference when you are actually working on your career and not just aimless learning, like H.S.. :verygood: :think:

What happened to the coach? Did your questions & suggestions make him feel inadequate? :sulk:

Accountants always get too much, but their stamp of approval is a necessary evil, LOL.

With everything you have on the go, you don't wanna be catching all the viruseses the kids bring into the daycare. :sick:

Don't worry 'bout the cleaning lady. Think of it this way. you're helping someone else put food on their table. And with all your commitments & the age of your family, they are more important than dust, or mopping.

We've had a bit of snow, but not much & nothing sticking yet.

Remember, your workouts are for you. You'll need that time to keep your sanity! :silly: Keep us posted.

You take a look at ALL the work you ARE doing and realize even if you were taking on 1/4 of the load you are right now, you STILL would NOT be a failure or a bad wife.

You'll be a great coach as you are mother, wife and friend. Have fun with it.

This is a no joke list!!! Like HiDiN and Bunny said your load is a heavy one!!! Most people wouldn't attempt half of that. I think you feel if you can't balance 50 things at once then it's not good enough. I get the same way. but you have to take a few things focus on those and just try and get the rest accomplished the best way you can. You can either do everything half @ss because of trying to do your best at everything, or pick a few and do great at those, and let the rest be half @ss and know that they will hit higher on thr priority list in due time.
Keep it up, you are doing great :)

Bad wife, mother Geeshhhh.... I think not if anything you are showing them not to be lazy and how to make a difference and be a goal achiever. I think anyone would want their kids to follow those good qualities.

Aw, no, not a failure... you'll see how much of a relief it is to have it cleaned and you not being doing it. You have more important things to attend to :)

I am a lot more relaxed since hubby and I sat down and discussed everything. especially when the coach quit my hubby told me it looked like my head was about to explode LOL.

Hidn... still feeling guilty about the maid, but you made a good point and hubby said wait until she comes and cleans and see how you feel after.

Last night got a huge pain in my right lower quadrant in my belly, couldn't sleep it hurt so bad and today it is just getting worse as I move around. Though I am pretty sure it isn't appendisitic cause I am not puking green and I have no temperature. Well it better not be I can't afford to be in bed, especially right now! ARRRRRRR supposed to see trainer tonight.

and it is snowing, snowing snowing here and I am supposed to drive to the doctors which is an hour away, don't feel much like going especially with my girls, we will see.....

we had scary movie night on sat. it was really, really funny.....my youngest daughter rented, my little ponies, hee hee. my oldest daughter rented the old godzilla and it was hallarious however she cried when they killed godzilla, I felt so bad for her. Boys rented jaws and laughed the whole time. and we rented some vampire movie that we have to watch tonight.

off to get my kid to school, buy more pumpkins to carve and start our two day halloween party :) , our other ones already are rotten, fax a whole bunch of stuff now that I have a new one! :)

ck You are quite a powerhouse & just an inspiration. When I see the whole list of family demands I sit there & go, "Yea, I have a cat...." I live vicariously thru the volumes of pix of my nephews that my sister-in-law sends. But they are also exhausting to be around (esp when you aren't the authority figure they will actually listen to...). Mega props. As far as a maid -- do you have any idea how many single guys I know who have maids and don't even think twice about it? In fact they look at me funny when I say I have to clean my house. For a mom w/ a full house & a full schedule both personally & family-oriented, a maid is just part of your support staff. And the best leaders are the ones who are good at delegating! :)

As far as competitions & trainers -- there's always another competition. Its a goal, but not one that is ever locked in time.

I agree with Sassy, you're quite a motivation and always have been even when you were away from EF for a little bit but still stayed on me via email to get my butt to the gym :) Thats quite a load on your list but like others have said just take it one step at a time and you'll be great! :heart:

I liked skipping rope :(, but my wrists (Carpal Tunnel & Tendonitis) & my knees are not so fond. Great workout, though. All the boxers do it.

Great on basically ANY day IMO. If you have a cardio & ab day, you can cycle the two like 60 second skip / 60 sec abs / 60 second rest X 5 or something then repeat for each ab exercise you do. :)

I like your new workout concept too! I am so bad at jumping rope that I have to simulate with fake rope...otherwise I spend half my time untangled instead!!

Hheck yeah it is!!! I did a week at a place here called Demorest Boxing & Fitness .... overall this wasn't the place for me to workout full-time, but every visit I had there was INTENSE!! Hell, the rounds of jump rope alone were intense.... Enjoy it... And it gets easier every time you do it, kinda like riding a bike. One of those childhood things - you don't forget the fundamentals.

Yup tonight was a little easier, did screw up as much, everytime I do I add another 5 secs so I am really glad I didn't too much tonight. But dripping sweat, I LOVE IT!

Soccer game isn't until sat, last sat when the coach quit half way through we were slaughtered 9 to 0 LOL.

Well now I can't coach cause my hubby has to work saturdays so I have to take the girls to his soccer game. arrrrr but they found another coach. It will be better, less stress, well we shall see trying to get a 4 and 2 year old to sit for an hour should be fun.
 
I forgot to write about my halloween hee hee.

My youngest refused to wear her costume so she went as a BRAT, LOL just joking, my other daughter went as a scary knight (knight costume with mask, don't ask too long of a story) and of course kept on tripping in the snow cause she couldn't see and refused to take off the mask.

My son went as lazy and put a sheet over his head LOL and my other son for the first time ever was into halloween (he is autisitc) went as Darth Vader.

I went as a witch and carried a swifer around all night and my hubby went as a twinky

It was really cold so we just did the block but got a lot of candy cause all the neighbours know us, the day leading up to the night was more fun, had a little halloween party with the girls.
 
I brought my jump rope to the new gym with me last night!! I felt quite uncoordinated at first but it got better. I went at it one-minute at a time, for a total of fifteen intervals... Good stuff! Got the heart pumpin' and def. got sweaty.

Halloween sounded fun... we got a burst of warm weather here so we were a bit more fortunate.

wasn't bad but I decorated my whole house had scary music playing in the garage for a whole 10 kids that came to the door, I still have to take it down, getting ready for christmas already LOL
 
We had about 50 kids, but mostly done by 19:30. Unfortunately we have a bowl of those mini chocolate bars left over. I got dibs on the straight chocolate ones, 'cause I can justify one a day. They can fight over the rest. No snow.

Yup had to get the boxes out of storage and make room for the decoration. Gotta take measurements of the new house to determine the lights, very calculated procedure LOL. We are the Grizwalds! Must getting eating under control, arrrr.

I ate about 10 of those small chocolate bars yesterday and two glasses of wine and about 10 gingerbread cookies that we made and a whole bunch of chicken and white pasta NOT GOOD. I feel like crap today but been eating like that since tuesday.

Not eating when I am supposed to or the right amouts or the right stuff. Get the whips out NOW.

This morning I start with

You can get a bosu ball at any larger sporting store like Dick's Sporting Goods or Sports Authority...you can also get them online and some sites have decent shipping rates.

Not really, but what can you do. The coaches that were supposed to take over today never showed up, I had nothing ready cause I came an hour early to go over everything with them and they never came so I needed a male to come onto the field cause of rules and nobody would help until the last minute. As well, I had my girls with me so another parent had to watch them (thank god they were angels) because no one else would help and I had to go out there. Then my son got hurt and then wouldn't listen to me when I told him to get off the field to switch players on several occasions, the offical had to tell him to get off (he is in supreme shit for not listening to me, I am not sure if him getting hit on the head, did something but arrr LOL). Then I had to rush to my parents house for a stupid candle party. Then I found out some stupid crap about stepson's mom that she is trying to pull again.

so now I have to organize wednesday's practice, missed my workout tonight and didn't study, blah, blah, blah, yada yada yada

but tomorrow is hopefully looking better taking the kids to farmfair to pet some lama's LOL.

Oh no I am positive, positive my son is lucky there were to many witness's LMAO!!!!

I am still positive just had to spuuu. Just finished printing off my lesson plan for wednesday. I love coaching and I am really upset I can't but I am spreading to thin (really I wish HA HA) Just I high intense day is all, and besides tomorrow I get to pet some Lama's LOL.

I had a busy day today sooo that is my excuse but yup, I don't like the look of my legs and I know it is from eating crap so I am going to stop.

The bloating is from auntie that is coming and I am not going to even comment on the scale cause I don't really care the number right now, and that is the complete truth, I know what has to be done to get into my clothes that I love again, (scale or no scale) and DIET is doing much better seeing that failure leads to being FAT, LOL. Age and having kids I think, I run a fine line that can't be crossed as much anymore I have learned that the hard way and I am never going back to that again.

Thanks for asking and keeping me on my toes, except my eye is never going to heal if you keep on hitting me on the head with that fish LMAO!

well I tried the hop with one leg thing, yup THAT was funny, going to have to practice that one.... eating my oats and off I go

Hop w/one leg with the jump rope? I really want to look cool when I jump rope - I watched a few episodes of The Contender and boxers are so coordinated and just cool when they jump rope.... Seriously. I need to practice more.

iam trying to just stare at a point on the wall to concentrate on what I am doing and it makes the time go by faster cause I am not clock watching :)

skipping for 10 minutes was the hardest cardio I have ever done, besides jacobs ladder. About 3min in I wanted to give up, my calves hurt so bad they went numb (I think my shoe laces were to tight). about 6 minutes in I kept on screwing up so I kept on adding 5 seconds. About 8 minutes in I just kept saying to myself 2 more minutes, 2 more CK come on! LOL

IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

well I wan't la de da jumping I can tell you that much Thanks!!!! :) .... funny story...

Doing the dyna band back exercises (you have to put the band around your feet and pull back...welll.... the damn band slipped off my feet and snapped me right below my boobs, can you say OUCH!!!

I am just thinking about jumping rope AND working calves in the past and then shoving myself into 3-inch heels the next day. My calves totally tightened up being in those shoes all day @ work; they had no where to go & stretch. Out of the shoes, I was talking around on my tip-toes... I was CRYING because they hurt so bad. BE CAREFUL - STRETCH!!
 
weight 152 pounds, nausea in the morning and bloating, pain on the side still, and no, I am not prego, but I know now what the weight gain and sickness is being caused from now and hopefully it will be gone soon. being a woman sucks sometimes LOL
