FitFossil - Before & After pics

Can I tell you that I HATE YOU!!! Awesome shoulders!

Beautiful physique - put MOST women half your age to shame!!

Bring up those legs BA-BIE!!! (Then I will REALLY hate you!! LOL)

I said to myself, "Self, you better check out the women's board because I have a feeling another hot chick posted her pic." I was right. :D Bravo for a GREAT job, and a standing ovation from me.

note to self: come to women's board to check for more pics of lovely women before anything else

AWESOME!

Your shape/physique is so similar to mine. Your progress is especially inspiring to me cause we look so alike! Now I difinitely know what I can look like:D

And we are the same age, so you are even more inspiring! BTW, do you have kid(s)?

Thanks, everyone for the kind words. I can't tell you how much that means, especially coming from so many awesome physiques as you all have. But know that ALL you Eliters have been such an inspiration to me. I cannot function w/o reading this board.

Surprised I was a blonde? Hmmm, well even though I was born blonde, I do admit to a little assistance in that department these days. I don't mean gray hairs, it's just that my natural hair is sort of a non-color.

As for assistance in the training department, the main thing for me was food (because I hadn't eaten a consistent nutrious diet for over 20 years). Nothing of the AS variety though. At least not yet - will consider in the future for anti-aging/quality of life. I tend to get cystic acne, so really want to avoid anything that might activate it. Even if it gave me the body of a goddess, w/ my luck I'd get a zitty pizza face. Supplements I do use include protein powder, glutamine, flaxseed oil, ALA, NYC/ECA, Yohimburn, & multi-vit., calcium, extra anti-oxidants and minerals.

Only kids are the 4 legged variety. As for bodyfat, it's hard to say. I've had the same person do a 5 caliper on me every time, so mainly I look at the direction rather than the number since those are so variable depending on the method, measurer, etc. I calipered at 23% in the Jan 2000 picture. One year later 12.5%, and this year @10%. 23 was high for me. Before I took the BC pill, I was always @15%. I was a competitive horseback rider, not much into the weights yet, but active.

Training is M,T,Th,F. Weights first then 30-40 min cardio. 2x/wk I do interval sprints, usu M & F. On T & Th I do elliptical or rower. Weights usually 1 body part/wk, except abs and calves twice. Usually in the 10 rep range for upper body and 15-20 for lower body. I change around every month or so experimenting w/ different routines and rep ranges. Weekends I might bike, ski, hike, garden, etc. but nothing scheduled.

i ttrain very similar to you...which particular exercises do you use for lower body? Can you also post your diet? i wana b like u! hehehe:o

Pretty complete package , good symmetry especially looked from the front it present a certain aestetic glow..

I don't see really weak areas but i do see some areas mainly on the rear that are not as strong (shape/development) as lets say your front delts, which are outstanding....

Ok these areas are:

- the hamstrings and the glutes, both could have added some more roundness and size for added flex appeal. Go crazy on stldl, squat and heavy lunges

- triceps you might want to catch them up in size and shape with your excellent biceps.
exercises that will do the trick:
- one-arm lying dumbell french press or barbell skull crusher (i prefer the dumbell , otherwise i tend to make kind of a pullover movement when going heavie)
- weighted dip
- JM press or close grip benchpress
- cable pushown

These 4 proven exercises should be your bread and butter for triceps training. Dont bother with overhead work (the lying franch press works the long head much better) and kickbacks is only to improve on triceps that already are very developed.

anywaY, you can really see that your determination has payed off...
