Going to take some time and hopefully give you a quality answer that will give you the big picture. This was my wife's first cycle experience which was amazing. She had been training for about 12 years, really hardcore for about 8 years with breaks to have two kids. She is a very competitive powerlifter and had built a good base over the years.
When she decided to do her first NPC physique show she asked me for advise on her first cycle. I am far from and expert but the advice I gave is true in any endeavor. If you are going to do it, do it right. Understand no magic, just work hard and dedication Be reasonable and prudent with AAS selection but not afraid of "possible" sides.
Started prep 12 weeks out @ 5'7" 160 and 9.6 percent BF according to hydrostatic dunk test. I think a tad higher but that was the base. Twelve weeks later stepped on stage @ 144lbs and same test had her @ 3.8 percent, she was still 5'7". Extremely conditioned and looked unbelievable. There were 3 females that had placed in top 7 @ Junior Nationals and she blew them away, it honestly was not close.
Weeks 1-4 15mg Var qd
5-10 20mg (split 2 hrs pre workout/2 hours post)
11-12 25mg SAA
Weeks 3-4 20mcg clen qd
5-6 40
7-8 60
9-10 80 (split wakeup, pre workout around 1000)
11-12 100 SAA
Ran the clen through entire diet instead of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
Sides were minimal, a very, very small amount of acne, increased libido and a smidge of clitoral sensitivity. Typical Clen sides, jittery initially that went away after a couple days..
Diet started @ 2200cal (not counting green vegetables) 225+gms protein with one re-feed as needed, every 7-10 days. Titrated down to about 1800 calories, again not counting greens, the last 10 days maintaining protein intake until day before show.
Training was hard, HEAVY, and simple structured around the compound movements. Typical leg day would look something like Squats 5x5 starting @ 250 working up to 280+, all really deep. Mix in couple weeks of sets of 8x 240-50 range, and once or twice sets of heavy triples with singles mixed in for fun. Polished off with lunges, extensions, curls etc. Same with back (HEAVY deads/rows) and chest/shoulders (Bench./Military press). Two weeks after show she did a legit powerlifting meet and squatted 369, benched 181, and deadlifted 381 barely missing 407. Point is she trained heavy throughout relative to her strength.
Cardio last 8 weeks was 2-4 30 minute sessions HITT session on stairmill, 2-4 sessions 15-30 minutes rowing. Walk 3+ miles @ easy pace 5 days a week always.
She looked unbelievable and very, very feminine on stage. The Var and clen definitely helped but she brutalized herself in the gym and ate very smartly and consistently . Most importantly the rebound after has been nothing short of remarkable. Last 5 months she has trained hard and just started prep for the Arnold (amateur) @173lbs and in better condition then she was when she started for last show.....And still very feminine.
I realize this was long and hopefully it came out as intended. There are no typical gains on any AAS. It depends on you and what you are willing to do in the gym and @ the dinner table. If you bust your ass your gains will be great, if not disappointing. Believe me I have been on both ends of that equation. This is lowest form of communication but hope this came out right and maybe helped. Good luck and if you are going to do it, do it right.
