First cycle diet questions

Glcextreme

Hello everyone. I will be starting my first cycle of Oxanadrovar with GW, and wanted to put my diet plan out there for review.

Breakfast - Egg, ham, and cheese sandwhich on multi-grain bread

Pre workout - (Green Smoothie) Kale, spinach, cucumber, carrots, and mixed fruit smoothie with 1 scoop protein (22g/scoop)

Post workout - 2 scoops protein, creatine, and a glass of skim milk with Ovaltine!

Lunch - Skinless baked chicken and rice or mashed potatoes

Predinner - Green Smoothie with 1 scoop protein

Dinner - 2 hard boiled eggs and sliced ham or chicken

My main goal is to lose a lot of bodyfat while adding some muscle and strength. I figure with this I should be taking in enough protein to maintain and grow muscle, carbs to fuel myself, and maximizing fat loss. Thank you for your time and information! :)

What I found to work better for me in general is to try and get more of my macro's off of whole foods instead of shakes. So maybe instead of having 3 smoothies a day, have 1 and turn the other 2 into real meals (ex:steak/broccoli, chicken/brown rice, lean ground beef/whole wheat tortillas). Assuming you have your calorie intake/macros on track for your weight, you should be fine.

What is your height Weight bodyfat. That diet had far to many shakes and not enough actual food.

I'm 5'7, 240 at 22% BF at the moment. I want to take in as little fat as possible during this diet/cycle.

Ok that's understandable. I would still try to eat a little more whole food and cut down on the shakes. Are you going to run a cycle log. Would be interesting

Yes I plan on running a log. I'm also going to include pictures and tape measurements. I'm pretty excited to see how this is going to turn out. I will try to add more whole foods as possible. I do love eggs :)

why dont you want to take in fat? You realize that fat retention is caused by surges in insuline which is caused by foods high on the glycemic index which is usually processed foods, sugar and CARBS.

Fat actually slow the digestion of carbs and effectively reduces their GI of them. Fats are essential for proper brain function and is a bae for most hormones.

Thank you. You came here with a DIET question instead of thinking that drugs were the main answer.

That means you have an understanding of what your doing and that supplements are just a peice of the puzzle not the whole puzzle!!

I drink 64 ozs of smoothies a day and couldn't live without them. However, my smoothies are much more calorie dense than yours. I also don't substitute meals for my smoothies I drink them in between my meals. Give that a try, eat lean protein sources with low gi carbs and quality fats and save your smoothies for in between meals. On workout days I also have most of my smoothie pre and post workout. I'd be glad to share my smoothie recipe if you're interested.

Keep your fats at a reasonable level, just try to stay away from saturated fats.

I've substituted a lot of what i'd call my "Bad" Fats for a healthier source such as nuts etc and it seems to be working for me :)
