Finally I can squat 3 plates!!

Elite's great for research if your starting out, but what sucks about this board is that there is to many A-Holes. This guy made an accomplishment and some guys here are basically calling it a joke. Honestly dicks, just STFU if your not going to post something positive move your Ego over to Triedia.com

Congrats on breaking the 300lb mark.

Back in the day, Colombo was stronger than Arnold. But who kept winning the O?

I know a guy in the gym who can leg press twice as much as me but put us together with shirts off and he looks like shit.

Nothing against power lifters or BB, but this guy finished a cycle and is still making gains! I can do 21 reps with 315, but I never made gains after 7 weeks of ending cycle either.

First off: congrats, a new record is a new record. On the powerlifting board 16-year olds are posting videos of getting 215 on the board press and are getting nothing but kudos from guys like brian mincher. There is no reason not to be as supportive.

For some people, being told they ain't shit is good motivation. But for most people "Good job bro, 405 is just around the corner" works best. So I would like to join the people giving you the 'attaboy.

Second: you should not have juiced if you were that far away from your genetic potential. I am one of the LEAST athletic fucks on the planet. I am not going to get into details but I will probably never weigh over 200# or have 20" arms. However I have squatted over 300# for 5+ reps. After working out for about 1 1/2 years. Never did a 1 rep max because it's too dangerous (accarding to my strength coach). But I tested out at over 400# on a balls-to-the-wall AMRAP test. So I also agree with the people who say you need to stay away from the juice for a couple years while you get your training, diet, and overall potential sorted out.

Lets be real here....
If some cannot squat 315 for at least a double or triple, what should they really be thinking about, getting gear or getting their routine and diet up to spec? Today I squatted 445 for 5 sets of 5 and I am only starting to feel ready to take AAS.

your still forgetting the role of genetics here, if a guy trains hard, eats right, gets enough sleep and his lifts aren't world record breaking it may be because he isn't genetically gifted with strength, to say oh you can't take gear as you can't squat as much as me and i have never touched gear is ridiculous

well done on the three plates mate, wish i could get that, to be any personal best is an accomplishment and a sign of good progress

Congratulations bro,

First of all all the people who flamed and made fun of this bro in my oppinoin are stupid idiots who will never go anywhere. Your the type of people in my gym that squat 4" down 6 plates and then run around thinking your beter than anyone with your chicken legs. I chalange most of you who comented negatively to do 8-10 reps using 3 plateson each side free weight all the way down slowly from top to ass to floor and without locking out on top without using a weight belt. Realy you should try it sometime.
Second everyone has their own strenght / body composition. He made an achievement and thats what matters plus im willing to bet he looks 2x better than most of you comenting negatively. This is just a hunch. Just last cycle i had this idiot who put on 5 plates on the squat bar on smith and went down 2" for 2 reps with a training partner. He was walking around stoked and i could see it in his eyes how he looke down uppon me deep inside lol for only doing 4 plates all the way down myself to floor without belt for 10 reps solid for a few sets without a spot. I just eventualy burst out laughing in his face couldnt help it.

Congratulations bro dont listen to these iamture fools anyone who is fairly big will tell u the same.:)

no shit... so many of those who think that 315 is "nothing" wouldn't be able to get a single REAL rep w/that weight... congrats on the PR bro and don't listen to the haters...

Yeah, I don't where all of you live, where I workout I rarely see people squat or deadlift at all less alone with heavy weights. When I do 315 I feel like a big dog for that reason alone :D and I am not big.

I'm in Miami Beach too, there are more huge mofo's here than anywhere I know (maybe So Cal, or NY/NJ).

i'm in the same boat with alot of these other guys like jc....this guy's taken a huge chance posting something like this up here..i think that says alot about his character and not to mention, esteem!!! excellent job, these flames that are being thrown at you are only motivation for the future, not that you would need it though. good job....

I aint going to lie

Do you!! Dont worry about other peoples lifts. Hell some people shoulder press 315 for 10, but I guarantee you they probaly started with 135 on the bar looking at the guy who did 225 for 5 like he was god.

Just keep up the hard work, soon enough you will be the dude in the gym everyone watches lift.

Trust me getting there is most of the fun.
