That seems fair to me. Try and find a pace where you still gain and keep your fat levels at acceptable levels. Adding a bit of cardio will help you on that. I can so relate to your case.
I usually keep a detailed plan of my short-term and long term goals out where I can see it daily. It is rough to look in the mirror and see a set of abs fading, but it helps to tell myself it really is part of what I want.
