back to iron and calcium. personally i am glad the calcium blocks the iron and not the other way around. i definately need the calcium over the iron. also dosent the iron have adverse reactions with healthy fats. (speeds up oxidation?)
thats funny how everyone thinks veggies when it comes down to "dieting". i guess to maintain satiety and it adds bulk, gives the feeling of being full....when you arent. i always ate relatively normal foods, just less. even starches, but people are afraid of those these days......

Maybe you're not as full as you would have been eating steak and potatoes, but I find a really good chicken salad to be quite filling! especially the kind I make. My new favorite is salad with honey tangerines, gala apples, sliced almonds with sweet oriental salad dressing...yummmm! I think I'll add a grilled chicken breast on top next time!
