sup bros, i was wondering what you guys prefer to use for acne. now midway into a cycle of testoviron/deca/primo my back and chest acne is getting pretty harsh. ive been opn dynacin but it does little...so lets hear them =)

Benzoyl peroxide does nothing for me either. I switched Neutragena acne body wash with Salicylic acid and their body lotion and my acne has cleared up amazingly. I am very pleased with the results. I also bought some adult formula clearasil and I will add that on problem areas if needed.

i used minocine, differn. i have almost gottwn rid of al of it, and im on cycle,, i use differn twice a day and take 100mg minocine a day, also use somthing in the shower for acne,

tan if you can , and shower twice a day

i have also heard the drinking 1 tsp hydrogen peroxide in 16oz water helps. my friend did it and is still alive, and said he felt no discomfort.. and his acne did seem to clear up a bit..

try b5 also

i use the neutragena body wash and the neutragena foaming facial cleanser, i am extremely pleased with it.

Epson salt, but 2 cups salt in a dish of realy hot water let desolve a little bit then take a scrub brush and rob salt into zits, realy scrub them man dry those fuckers out, stings alot but oh well gets ride of them and keeps the oil off your skin do this twice a day man you should be fine if you can handle the sting:bawling:

also just read a day or 2 ago that you should put a cup of bleach into bath water will dry those bast@rds out. also tanning bed is supost to work well

i get these face pads (normal brand, round, with lil bumps on them) and i use rubbing alchahol and then rub my face with the swabs with alchahol on it....u can SEE all the dirt that comes off...its nastey.
it works GREAT tho

Cleocin-T works better than anything. It is a prescription solution and pretty easy to get Most insurance covers it also.

My acne isn't from AS, just oily skin but acne should be acne. New to the AS world, looking for info on use for women. But I know the rules, I'll do some more research and search the boards here first....looking forward to chatting with you all. :kitty:

accutane....definatley one of the best. But it isn't over the counter but your doc might help you out. Frequent showers and tanning bed will dry em' up. The benzoil show help keep oily residue to a min but it won't really get rid of acne you already have.:(

Accutane works great, but is a pain in the ass with all the sides, but is worth it. I grew up with bad acne on chest and back before ever using steroids. I then used accutane for 3 months and it cleared it all up. I went through 50 blistexs, cracked skin on figers, and a few long ass nose bleeds. But it did work. Occassionaly now, I will get a few pimples on my back when doing steroids. I mainly get a few pimples here and there when on deca or eq on my face. Benzamycin works well for acne on your face. It is a topical gel. You store it in the refrigerator. It dries your face out. Use it once or twice a day. I use it before bed. Stay out of the sun when it has been applied to your face. It is a prescription. Try that out. It is awesome looking jacked, but sucks when your back, chest, or face looks like a pepporoni pizza. Good luck

acne cures

I've dealt with acne all my life, heres what I do:

Drink lots of water.

Take one or more of: antibiotic minocycline, tetracyclin, erthromycin, or accutane from your doctor

Dry it up with Retin a.001, or benzol peroxide like oxy, clearsil, etc

Always wash your face with a mild soap

Everyones diet is different so dont listen to someone that tells you to eat a certain way to avoid acne.
Remember. lots of water!

Why put more drugs into your system? Try getting some time in the sun by the pool. Dont use soaps with fragrance in them. Rinse shampoos and conditioners over your head and not down your back. Exfoliate the skin with a luffa. Diet DOES matter. Accutane does work, did for a friend of mine, but he was always thirsty, looked flushed and said he didnt feel good. Antibiotic creams can help a lot. I heard about diluted bleach, but why not just use a swimming pool. A day or two by the pool dries the acne right up for me.

if you have cystic acne I mean those zits that are real deep down than accutane would be your best bet...nothing works like it so fuck the bull shit get some accutane:cool:

All the bro that said Accutain is the shit is absolutely right! You have to have a script for it but it works even while on a stack. Dry ass lips though but a little lip moisterizer will do the trick.

i know accutane is great for cystic acne, but what i have is more of a bunch of small dots on my back and chest. nothing big, and they rarely even pop. theres just a bunch of them :(

I am telling you, Cleocin-T. No dermatologist prescribes it because it actually works. My gynocologist is the one who introduced it to me and she said that I would never have to visit another dermatologist again, and she was right. It is a topical solution that you dab on and has no dryness or other side effects that you will have with those traditional acne medicines.

Other than that, Marky has it right on. Diet, water and keeping your skin clean. A couple times a day, especially in the summer, I just use a couple cotton balls and wipe my face and back down with an astrigent, Clinique is a really good brand (yes, even for men!) and you can get it at deparmen stores.

diet

Yes thats what I said, diet does matter, but everyone diet needs are different. Eating certain foods may cause my skin to clear up while causing another person acne. Generally its greasy foods that give you bad acne. Another good way to dry up your skin is by swimming in saltwater like the ocean. That really dries up your skin nicely as well.

Trust me, go with the accutane

The sides are not as bad as everyone says

Use Blistex medicated lip ointment for the lips and a non-comodegenic, water based cream to moisturize and watch everything clear up

Good Luck
