Blah.
After 12 weeks of 5x5, I gained 15 pounds and was a nice solid 200. my joints were aching, so I decided to take a week off.

that week turned into a month of eating wrong, sporadic trips to the gym and all around tiredness and lack of ambition.

This ever happen to anyone else? I think I can explain the tiredness due to a crap diet.. I just lack the ambition..

sigh

If I take over a week off I start to feel like crap, out of shape. I've taken a whole month off before and started feeling guilty and physically crappy.

Nowadays the only thing I'll take time off for is joint pains like yourself, or a strained lower back, which luckily I've learned how to avoid these days, or if I hurt myself too badly to work out.

Whenever I take time off, I have a hard time getting back into it at first. I lose that drive. You just have to force yourself to go, and you'll be back to normal in no time.

i once took a layogg for a week....turned into 5 months....of NOT GOING AT ALL!

i must say, it was a very low point in my life....lot's of issues.
and not lifting, made it that much worse.

it can be very hard to get back in the gym after too long of a layoff. You just gotta think about why you are there doing it, and focus on your goals.

keep your chin up bro.

Went three months bro, worst three months yet.

Hard getting back into it, sucks that I lost my definition. :(
