Essential Supplements

I've been back to the gym for almost a month now after a long layoff. About 1 1/2- 2 years being lazy. Finally snapped out of it.

So I'm back now, and I've been killing it. Already lost about 5 pounds and I'm getting stronger by the week. Thing is I'm already starting to see myself go through the motions a bit.

So my plan is to tweek my routine and start using some supplements again.

I want to use some sort of pre workout powder containing creatine, arginine, caffeine, and all those other good things. I've always used whey also for protein shakes.I'm currently taking a multivitamin, fish oils, vitamin D, and B 12.

In your opinion what are the absolute essentials as far as supplements go? Pre workout and post workout especially. Should I stop taking some vitamins when on these supplements?

Also is there any websites online I could shop that has great prices and rep???

I'm going to kill it at the gym right now, thanks for the replies.

Needtobuildmuscle.com
Has everything you need.
This way your building your reg to suit your nwwss

If you get a good protein powder you really have most bases covered. With BCAA's multi's and minerals etc maybe one with glutamine thrown in just for extra measure!

Personally if you go with what everyone says you would end up with a small loan just to finance it.

A separate multi vitamin wouldn't go astray along with vit c also.

A pre-workout post work-out would be good but I never get into them as most pre workouts are caffeine to the max (may as well have a coffee) A pre workout is essentially a good protein shake IMO

You could take some test booster as someone else said check out needtobuild for that

Good luck brother !!!

I feel better on a multi and if training hard is a good idea.
I just get a cheap generic one.
Any whey would be a decent post workout shake. Whey isolate is better than concentrate. Ntbm has a pretty high percentage protein per gram and for a cheap price.
