Never been into DB flys. Never felt right to me. I would do the straight arm pec dec in my split from time to time as a warm up or pre exhaust.
Not yesterday, but the chest w/o a few days before I decided to try them again to finish up. Not bad. Found the groove while doing them to make them not hurt.
So I decided to do them yesterday as a full on working movement not a warm up or finisher. Warmed up with flat DB for 5 sets Omega style then moved to DB flys.....HOLY FUCK!!!!!! One warm up set and 4 work sets. I have NEVER had a chest movement shred my pecs like DB flys. Everyone has a different thing thats the be all end all for hitting chest. I think I found mine.
When I moved to incline DB press for 5 sets i was so cooked I couldnt get weights that I do for 10-12 reps up for 6 or 7.
