Doomed by Massive amounts of Cardio???

Lost my license for a year, doomed to bike everywhere this summer, Job and gym mainly. Will a shitload of biking, maybe 5- 10 miles a day, make it impossible to put on size?

5-10 miles is not a whole lot on a bike. Is that round trip or one-way? But the fact that you're doing it every day might hurt a little. You'll want to adjust your diet and supp intake. Even with that, it's gonna be hard for you to bulk, especially if you're a hardgainer.

5-10 MILES ON BIKE IS NOT A LOT AT ALL.

JUST EAT SOME MORE CARBS + PROTEIN.

5-10 miles It's just enough not too gain too much fat while you bulk. This licence thing might actually work out in a good way unexpectedly.

Offseason I started doing pre-breakfast slow biking (this is not very taxing for my CNS/recovery systems which is already pressured by doing intens weighttraining, in a cutting phase i might include some HIIT with that) on my hometrainer and it helps to keep my BF stationary while i am still able to put on some size...

My BF is around 13 procent offseason. I like to keep that. I think that all people above 12 percent BF should include some cardio and that people below 11 percent don't need it (cause they are a bit low in fat for gaining strength/size good hormonal environment)

That's not cardio, that's transportation. I did the same thing for a few years and trekked back and forth between two or three jobs and still made good gains. All miles are not equal though. If you live in a hilly part of the world it's a different thing. Cycling up hills sucks. I don't cycle to work anymore because it's uphill both ways j/k.

1%....interesting

I see your going to cycle to the gym also. It's a warm up that's all, be glad you don't have to do it in winter when there's snow on the ground. Cycling home after leg day is some funny shit (slow too). Teenagers and old people can't drive and will fucking kill you, that's what you should worry about.

i live at the top of the town you could say, so the ride down to work and then after that the gym will be no sweat, but coming home uphill will be a killer. Also, my boss told me the construction work i was hired for is tough as hell, as im the unskilled laborer hired to do all the grunt work, so after 8 hours of this, then the gym, THEN the bike home, i am anticipating major burn out.

I just started biking to and from my gym, cause regular cardio was boring the hell out of me. At least this way I'm saving some gas. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the gym. I go slow, and its a nice warm up. Then on the way home, I go faster, to try and burn some fat. I've been doing it for a couple of weeks, and I'm looking leaner (I'm cutting).

You can easily bulk while doing 10 miles of biking a day. Its not really alot at all. Just play around with your calories until you get the gains you want. Its also great for you legs. I live in a hilly part of town, and get a great pump after climbing a hill. My squats have actually gone up a little since I started biking.

Cycle home uphill all the way after working construction and lifting weights? you're going to be an animal after a couple of months of that. I had a summer job as a hod carrier once, you carry around a pallet of bricks for a bricklayer. Up and down ladders all fucking day, real beast of burden shit. My legs got huge though, eight hours a day of continuous muscular tension will do that, but I was in bed by 8 pm usually and no way would I have made it to the gym .
