But hopefully now with this new program and the diet tips from shadow, chef, radar, and satch the fat better start coming off my ass or I am going to be extremely pissed!!! I am about to get on the plane and looking forward to the sleep but really sad to leave... Such is life

tris should also have a contracted positiona s well as a midrange....




its like doing flat barbell press and flat DB press...its redundant

Because the repetition is overkill. I think it would be better to replace one of the exercises with dips. Just my opinion.

It is possible that if the sets and reps aren't high, then it is not overkill .... but I tend to think it is too much. How many total sets/reps?

the first is the v-bar pushown
then the two arm overhead dumbell extension
then the single arm overhead dumbell extension

BICEPS:

preacher curls with barbell
stand up hammer curls dumbells
concentration curls
 
Okay so I just finally got home... I spent some time with some friends from my old work I have had a amazing and crazy couple of weeks!! Defiantly needed and one of my greatest life experiences... Pictures here we go I took some today for practice and you can all see my fat ass.... Diet starts hard core tomorrow I am as focused as I could be!! Thanks everyone for all the advice.. Shadow, chef, radar and satch... training and diet are in check and I am ready to get this shit off!!!

Okay some pictures finally... Yeah I know I look fat about 15-20 pounds from playboy chef is helping downsize some of the pics from my shoot yesterday so I can post those... I even included the 630am before my run shot just to show you all how different I look without all the goop...;)

Thank you so much ladies, you have no idea how much this mean... I have had issues with my body for years; have dealt with an eating disorder, the whole 9. I never asked to model just got thrown in it and that was difficult for me. I have finally found the peace I had been seeking for years within myself, and this is the first time in my life that I have actually tried to lose weight the right way.. I am very proud of myself for coming as far as I have; you have no idea!! I love this board so much because you guys are so motivational and always they’re to pick a girlie up!! This way is DEFIANTLY harder!! But I know in the long run I will be able to maintain the results so that is all that matters... Thank you all again so very much!!! You have no idea!!!!!!!

Its great to see people finding happiness w/ their physical progress, but to find inner peace along with it is priceless!

BTW, what 15-20 lbs?? Sweetie you aren't fat & dont' worry about the "20 lb". Your goal is just to address the bodyfat yes? ;)

Okay so feeling good this morning I went to the gym on an empty stomach and pounded that workout. I ABSOLUTLEY love this training schedule because I leave the gym still pumped up and not exhausted!!

So when I was away my mother sent me one of her stupid fucking "care" packages as she calls them... As soon as I opened the box I could smell them... MY FAVORITE@!!! Even though my mom well isn't the greatest person she makes the best banana bread and shortbread cookies that I have ever tasted.... I almost cried when I threw them down the hill in my backyard.. (Isn’t that sad I actually did that because I was worried if I put it in the garbage I might still go after it) I am so pathetic... I haven't tasted that banana bread in a good 2 years... DAMM IT!!! But on a happy note I got some beautiful new pictures of my nieces.. I can't believe how fast kids grow up!!

Yeah sassy just want to reduce the bf but was told that 20 pounds was a good goal... actually was told 30 pound of fat but I don’t think that is possible...

And yeah the size 5's are fitting perfectly right now.. I will start to break out the 4.. WOO HOOO!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!! Luv ya all!!!

I have had a interesting morning, go to get some coffee and spill it all over my pants. Get to the gym and the cutest old man starts hitting on me. Probably in his 80's he trys to get me to walk up the stairs in front of him so he can watch my butt. He tells me so.. Way to funny... New goal I was to be 80 and still hitting on the 20 year olds!! Weight in at 142.5 WOO HOOO down 3.5 pounds FINELY!!!!!@ Then I get back to my car to find that the entire 45 dollar bottle of demological conditioning wash is in my back seat covering everything... grr... Including my birth cerificate goodness... Seems like this is going to be a weird day!!

Very true CC. Doing too much in a day is just about as bad as not doing enough - as far as results wise. Remember, results from weights come when RESTING, not while doing. If you don't allow the body to rest and repair, the results will stall and eventually stop.

Working out 2-3x a day is overkill IMHO.

my ratios have been like this for 7 days now

60 % protein
30% carbs
10% fat
like 100 grams protein, 50 grams carbs, 6 grams of fat

I am just at the end of Mr. Fun Or aunt flow as some call it and today I am looking a little flat.. Do you think that is because of water from the end of the cycle or should I carb up tomorrow? was thinking about having oatmeal twice and not doing any activity other than work if I can stand it... Or should I just stick with the ratios I have been eating and just see how tomorrow is?
 
I am going to add my udo's in I haven't been taking it because I didn't know when to take it... What do you think about my question though should I up the carbs tomorrow?
 
courtney you need to carb up twice a week..

im cuttin too right now, and was doin a 6 day super low carbs/1 day carb up.

but a few solid pros on this board suggested the 3 day low carbs/1 day carb up.
makes more sense.

a 40/30/30 will negate having to carb-up...thwn fat loss plateaus on theat then you simply move to a carb rotation phase to drop the remaining fat. Higher fat levels (25-35%) have been shown to have additional benefits to losing bodyfat than lower fat intakes

wow to hear that is really nice right now... I dont think you read back in my log but I had surgery so was out for a while and I am not to happy with my body right now... But thank you.. The base is many years in the making.. I played a ton of sports growing up and competively figure skated, ran long distance, played on a rep traveling fastpitch team, and played for all the school teams... I started weight training when I was 14 and I will be 23 next month...

C - please note how you are training and even though it feels good, MAKE SURE you aren't overtraining. It will burn you out & shut you down so fast you won't know what hit. Revel in your recovery time as well!
 
And remember, results come when RESTING. If you do not give your body recovery time, you will not make progress. More is not better.
 
You ladies are absolutely right… Last night I was so tired I actually had to force myself to go out to something that I have been looking forward to all week. This is totally not like me because I rarely get to dress up so when I get to I usually enjoy every minute of it.. But the whole process was a chore last night and all I wanted to do was sleep. I am glad I made myself because I had a great time. But this morning I was planning on forcing myself to go to the gym and when I woke up I decided that it was better I listen to my body and sleep… I am glad I did. I may even take tonight off depending how busy work is and if I am able to nap today.. On a really EXCITING NOTE!! I am right this minute wearing a pair of totally kick ass pants that I haven’t worn in FOREVER!! And only last week I couldn’t get up… LIFE IS GOOD!! WOO HOO

That's awesome tho - I will agree sometimes we are so high on "life" that we have to go put the energy some place. But its also good to sit back and luxuriate in the high too! And then put on the kick ass outfit & go wow a few people.

My point exactly. Court, it appears you have a good thing and good man in your life - don't let emotion and petty things ruin it. Read some of the latest threads in the Girl Talk forum - you will realize how good you have it (if you didn't before).

Next time, in lieu of creating a thread, either rant on the Iron Angels Yahoo Board (I use it all the time), or write it down on a piece of paper and throw it away (also, because it is none of our business).
 
Integrity is everything....being a man/woman of your word is substancial to this. For me, if you say ur going to go pee, that's what i expect you to do unless you say otherwise. Simple enough. I dont know the entire story like if there was a reason behind it or emergency, etc so I can't really make a sound judgement call.

Funny, I wanted to post up the other night about something similar to this. (same mind frame)

My ex (father of my child) said he was coming over to pick up Braylan...I tell her he's coming and she gets all excited....I don't hear from him for about 2 hours so I initiate a call. He says he's at home...mind you, from where he was, he had to pass by my place to get to his....but that he had to pick something up and then was on his way. So, I tell Bray again, daddy's on his way. We sit and wait. She's giddy. (he lives MAYBE 8 minutes from me) 45 minutes later....I call again just to confirm or deny his arrival...he's pissed at me this time because "i know his legs hurt from working out and he's exhausted". :rolleyes: Ummmmmm...OKAY. So why didn't you tell me that 4 hours ago...when you KNEW you weren't coming over. Instead, I had to sit for 4 hours telling my daughter that daddy was coming and then he wasn't and then he was and then not. Amidst all this...she's crying and in tears because she wants to see her daddy. Five different times that night he said he was coming to get her and 5 different times I had to call and find out where he was. Irony behind this, I'm now the "bitch" because I didn't "cover" for daddy. Was I wrong here? Negatory...he said he was coming over and never had any intentions on doing so. When I confront him with that...he rips me a new arsehole and tries to make me out to be the bad guy. If you can't trust and believe in the little things...how will you ever get to the big ones?

Moral of my story: I hold a simple mentality in life with everything. Shit or get off the pot. Say what you mean and mean what you say. No one can EVER doubt you then.

I have to agree with satch to a point too...think rationale and never act on your emotion. Doesn't always end up purty when you do.
 
If a good friend does minor thing like that that iritate you just say to them that when they promise to call in x time and don't that perhaps in the future they could just say that they will give you a call when they can or similiar.

Sometimes friends can be clueless.

I'm guilty of it myself and needed to be told that a habit of mine was a really big PITA to them and I just didn't realize and you know I was happy when she told me because I never knew why she would be pissy with me.

to this day, no dictionary will have the same meaning for 'intelligence'.
its defined differently in psychology, religion, and other fields of study.

for me, intelligence is the same as common sense...
the 'gift' (if you will) to recognize reality as it is.
to interepret situations with rationale.
to shut up when words arent needed...
and to speak up when needed.

now...

i dont know if this is called foolish, stupid, or just loopy loop, but i cant stand when people talk too much.. its critical to stay in focus. call me picky or a pain in the ass... whatever... i keep to myself most of the time and know when to speak up. its gotten me far in life.

intelligence isnt reading a bunch of books and earning a univesity degree.
its the drop out that made a few million dollars and is succesfully raising a healthy family.
 
Well it is good to know that some people are allowed to throw there thoughts around on the internet and others are not.. Check... I will remember that... okay are we all done pointing and laughing at the "foolish, stupid, or just loopy loop" girlie... can we now move on

I am SO cranky right now... On the verge of tears for no good reason and if looks could kill I would have killed every guy that looked my way tonight at the gym.. Took the abuse out on the weights and my quads feel like jello right now.. Love is interesting isn't it..
