It is in US territory hence US and State laws apply, they have to pay at least minimum wage.

I'm really warming-up to this idea. They should set it up as a Chinese military base under Chinese law.

It's not really fair to deny them the right to guard their own money.

The idea of company dormitories and a company store isn't that old, even in the US. We've got a plant in Camden, SC that still has standing (albeit vacant) dormitories.
