ok, i am going to start a maintenace diet soon and i have decided as my first meal to have 2 cups skim milk with 2 cups of some sort of cereal that has approx 25-30 grams carbs per serving size of 1 cup. i know cereal is not the best choice, but i love it and i have fit it into my macronutrient breakdown and total cals and the other 5 meals of my day are solid so i dont think it will hurt. i dont want to eat any of that kashi cereals or fiber one, though other than those what should i look for in a cereal, i was just looking at around how many grams of fat and carbs per 1 cup serving and how many sugar grams there are making up the amount of carbs. with this i have come to either maybe something like cheerios, total, special k, things like that. is there anything that i should look that would make one better than the other, or does it really not matter? can i just get whichever i want for the weak? or would like a bran ceral be better than an oat types ceral.
