All nuts are good (I know what you're thinking, you sick weirdo!). Just make sure they're dry roasted, not too much salt. They're not as good almonds...but they're still ok.
I advise sunflower seeds too. 8g protein, 5g carbs, 15g fat per serving.
I snack on sunflower seeds all day long....the ones that are still in the shell. Not only are they good for you, they're also a way to defeat the "mental" cravings for food when you shouldn't be eating junkfood....they keep your mouth/mind "occupied" and you can't exactly eat them "too fast" since you have to eat them one at a time.

I can crack them at a speedy pace. I just throw a handful in my mouth, store them on one side and bring them over to the other side of my mouth on at a time, crack em, eat em, and spit em.
But I usually just buy the ones that are already shelled...alot less messy.
