Can someone reccomend me a protein powder that doesn't taste like trash

I bought a 10 pound bag of something awile ago, it was pretty good. But I forgot who sold it. I need something that mixes well with water and around 20-23/2-5 protein carb ratio.

This is the best tasting protein I've ever had. Seriously. It might not have the best profile, but I can drink this all day and not get sick of it.

i thought you meant protein bars. syntrax nectar fuzzy navel taste really good, imo, the other flavors suck. optimum nutritions is alright, doesnt taste the best but its drinkable. basically, the more expensive it is, the better it will taste, MOST of the time.

what have you tried to compare it to? Not to be an ass, just wanting to know before i spend my hard earned money on it. I currently use Opt. Nutrition 100% whey gold standard double chocolate that taste like pure ass juice.

All the Whey Unflavored Isolate. Mixed with plain water it tastes basically like skim milk. Can't vouche for the flavored varieties, I think 90% of the time what makes whey protein taste like shit is the stuff they flavor it with (which, I think, also covers up inferior quality proteins that may be a little off and also add to funkified flavor). Buy your own damn chocolate (or whatever) and put it in there yourself.

Are you looking for PWO or an all purpose shake?

If its the latter, do yourself a favor and head to True Protein and make this mix:

Micellar Casein (Instantized) 35%
Whey Protein Isolate (CFM) Cross-Flow Microfiltration 35%
PeptoPro (Hydrolyzed Caseinate) 20%
Dextrose 10%

I use orange flavor. Mixes great, tastes good.

Or you can get just a 100% whey isolate shake from them too.

Try powders from BSN, it come in ruby red containers at healthstores. They not only taste like sex, but have a optimum blend of protein/carbs/fats depending on what your needs are.

Personally, i would recommend the vanilla tho

I find all of the chocolate flavors taste bad. I use ON Gold Standard but I get the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor and it's good. It's Vanilla you can drink it straight up and it basically taste like milk or you can put just about anything in it to flavor it. I get 10lb bags of it locally for $79
