Can Men & Women Be Friends Without Sex?

depends on how they look...if they are obviously not attractive... i would say yes...but if they are hot...there is always that chance a spark can fly and we all know a spark can lead to a fire.

it says i get along well with guys. must you be a tease, ho or egomaniac to have male friends? i think not. i don't request my male friends to want to sleep with me and i'd prefer if they didn't. it's not my fault that males have a tendency to think with their dicks.

you try being friends with a large group of women - it's tough. i've always just gotten along better with men.

if you were friends with a girl that you found attractive, can you say you would never have thoughts of sleeping with her? if you can, lots of credit to you.

Shak, I'm sorry you took my comment as an offense, I apologize. But I'm just basing my thoughts on what you said. If you believe what you said you think all these male friends of yours want to have sex with you, right? So you don't mind surrounding yourself with them, in fact you choose to. So I think my question was fair.

I know I would (and have, do) thoughts of sleeping with female friends. So does that make me an egomaniac, ho or tease? I would say all of the above.

i don't mind surrounding myself with them because they are all great guys and i've been friends with them for 10+ years. when i was becoming friends with people in high school, i wasn't picking them based on whether i thought they would sleep with me or not. these are the people i bonded with and have remained close to over the years. i view them as my brothers.

do i think they would have slept with me at some point throughout the years? yeah, i do. it doesn't make me a ho or tease and certainly not an egomaniac. some of my guy friends would sleep with anything that walks! it's simply the truth.

I'm always stunned how many guys say yes to this question. If you have to answer the question with an "only if" qualifier then the answer is no.

note, i didn't say all of my male friends want to have sex with me. i said that i don't think they would have denied me had i instigated something.

i have three girlfriends - two of which are more like sisters. all my other friends are men. i don't know why that is...
