I actually had one of those myself. It's surprising when you start using it what muscles it engages. I Googled: exercises stability ball. There's a lot of stuff out there, but you really need to be careful, don't go diving in there too fast. The demands it can put on your core muscles are deceiving.
Anyway, I watched the beginning of this video (it runs about 16 minutes) and the instructor seems to be taking beginners into consideration:
Good call on the google MM I do that all the time to find good free info. The stability ball is a great first step I would also suggest picking up a set of dumbells the trees that have 5 10 and 15 are another great strating place. Of course all the exercise in the world wont get you in the shape you want if you are not dieting. So please post your diet be as detailed as possible so we can help you out.
You may consider Workouts On Demand -- their workout videos are geared toward beginners and you can even download the videos from their site. My favorites are the pilates and yoga, but my mom does the kickboxing and loves that one too!
The ball is fun. I love it for abs. Just remember your meal plan will drive all of your results. If you have not in another thread please post your meal plan. The ladies will go through it and make all the adjustments you need to achieve your goals.
