Can I count my protein that comes from oats, peanut butter, nuts

you can count any protein you want but your cheating yourself. any of the listed proteins grains, nuts, fruits, veggies should not be counted. they are not doing what the proteins from beef, milk, eggs ect do.

I thought when they were mixed with a complete protein, or whole wheat bread with peanut butter, they made a complete protein and therefore it WOULD do what an animal protein would do?

if that was true it would still be a crappy protein source. but i dont think it is.

I would say just to be on the safe side IF ONLY for peoples digestive tract and calorie counting you should keep track of ALL of it.

not nuts!?

i dont. i think the fat is great the protein is crap. the only protein i count is from beef, eggs, milk, fish, chicken, turkey, pork, and some protein shakes but even then only the quality ones.
