I had a great day today, the quickie deep tissue prep was great, pre adjustment, opened up somme obvious issues that I need to look into further ... facial was nice ... see updated log comment ... :) I have nice skin, no micro derm or chemical peels thank gawd ... Nothing against anyone that any one has had them ... just not ready to go there ...

Let's me honest here ... this very moment I am kinda depressed but it all ties in with Flo I m sure, that doesn't help things... but at least I am NOT drinking...

A.M. THE HILL On Empty Sarge Condition #2 & 3 … even 4? Pending approval ... total time ~ n/a … 3 X a day …

Warm up ~ 7 min jog from condo to “The Hill”

• ~ 11 total
• One up + One Down = 1 Cycle … --> Did that 10 times, last one ran up, walked down the back stairs and jogged back to condo … ~10 minutes cooldown … downhill (not an EASY run btw)


During Hill runs

• 3 sets of 10 decline Full push ups (of which 2 were at the top after hike, one at the bottom)

• 5 sets of full pushups (one also Declines) + 10 leg throw downs + 10 leg pulses + 10 leg holds all in pike position

• Of the 10 cycles on the way “Down” …

** One was ‘Football player’ style shuffles … side-to-side, then touch down repeat … then flip sides.. these were like side lunges.. totally afraid I was going to bail of front of everyone OMG :worried: … only one set of those … need cleats for those

**Four of the cycles were run backwards.. often rev plyo kick back style

**Remainder, forward jog down the hill, both on heel and on toes … even think every 4th or 5th step push BACK on leg to shock that quad … also alternating hops on one foot ever 10 hops or so


During Hill runs

• After getting my 5 in … added 2 more … and decided last 3 were going to be sprints

Even after 5 ish it was killer hot out ... and now I think of it ... the previous morning , I applied Aveeno spf 30- THREE times ( about 45 minutes before I left ... again 10 min before I left and as i was walking out the door) .... I still got color/lines/pinkish ... (and I wasn't even out that long) ....

I need that water baby stuff ... :D

I will say the view from up there is GORGEOUS .. I can fall asleep on the hill and enjoy the view ... by the time it was 'sprint time' ... PERFECT sprinting weather ... perfect breeze .... great end to a whacky day ... View of the trees, lakes, bar, v ball players, whole sky line .. I love where I live ...

Whacky day or not, it's great to appreciate what I DO have ... and that is what I am doing

Yeah I miss my trail.... It's in Virginia... went thrugh the woods up and down hills, many bridges over streams, and up and over part of the ocean there.... I would love to run my trail again. Definitely felt like I was on top of the world when I finished it... any time of year, day... but night was real dark so you needed a 'buddy'...
Glad you found a place that gives you that serenity!!
