Hey C3 ... Some people aren't pill people, some aren't powder people, those people aren't be or sick as I have been ... so this is in NO WAY directed at YOU .. so here :bigkiss: and so I go on ... speaking in general terms, ranting and addressing your questions ...

I haven't been able to focus on the benefits ... (have I even been on it for 2 weeks now?!) I am so busy I cannot even track myself these days.... But I absolutely believce in the healing power of ginger (Alex, :roadster: help me out, I have to go train & get to work, then doc) ...

As stated, those are what are in my 'usual' supp loads 3 X a day ... and rec. dosages, and sometimes I don't take them all ... I update what/when I can, and usually OCD about it :D .. but I do not consider them horse pills ... howveer drinking a glass of pills is hilarious to me :)

I added the vits & Mins to help NOT get sick given my particular situation ... I also take some b/c of my cancer (i.e. Alcar, tyr2, Glucorell, so have studies when used in conjuction to help cancer cell transciption etc ....)

LEVOREX IS AN awesome HEALTH SUPPLEMENT PERIOD ... I don't take all of them as 'fat burners' or b/c I need a magic weight loss pill... I turn to supplemnets b/c I'm sick of 'practicing medicine' sometimes...

Crap, as I sit here all ready, I woke up late again, have to shower, get into work early, play super woman all over again and hopefully it doesn't rain s I can get in a great workout later ...

Here's my shameless ginger plug once again. :) I need a supplement endorsement deal. (Ginger-TECH? ;))

"The healing ingredients are a variety of volatile essential oils, vitamin B6 and C and the minerals calcium, magnesium, sulphur, phosphorus and potassium.

Magnesium brings relaxation to the nervous system; together with the bloodstimulating qualities of the herb this makes a great anti-cramp medicine. It speeds up the bloodcirculation and sweating; it promotes both the supply of nurturing and healing substances with the blood and the removal of waste material through perspiration. Ginger brings blood to the surface of the body and therefore it is a good cure for chillblains. And it will stimulate fever in persons who need to sweat out diseases like colds and flues. It works anti-inflammatory, and in combination with the heat-stimulating characteristics this is important for rheumatic complaints. If you suffer from stiff or aching muscles: treat yourself on a hot bath with slices of Ginger, but dont use it longer than for 20 minutes.

For internal use it is best to cut very thin slices of the fresh root and make a tea with it. Use 5-6 slices in a teamug, add some honey and lemon, and you will have a delicious and healthy wintertime drink. Take one or two mugs of this a day. In case of motion sickness you can also chew on little pieces of fresh Ginger as thats probably the easiest way to consume it during a trip. Capsules of dried Ginger exist too; take them with a large glass of water. For external use on rheumatic joints or stiff or painful bodyparts that need more heat and improved circulation: you can either apply wet clothes soaked in the cooled down Ginger-tea, of apply thin fresh slices of the root on the painful places. In both cases: cover the area with dry towels or a blanket to benefit to the most of the heat. In case of cold hands and feet: add Ginger slices to boiled water for about 10 minutes, and add this tea to a bowl with warm water in which you put your hands or feet for about 20 minutes.

An interesting feature of this hot plant is its aphrodisiac quality; here to a mixture of the essential oil of ginger, coriander and rosemary is recommended. And I've understood that Senegalese women weave dried gingerroots into belts for their men to promote sexual activity. But not only for the men I assume."
 
Oh, trust me I understand the need for all the health supplements. My ex fiancee had leukemia for most of her life (from the time she was 15) until she was 24. That was one scary rollercoaster. She went in and out of remission twice and she still goes in for blood work, bone marrow biopsies, etc. They were giving her experimental drugs and they were making her so sick that she stopped taking them without telling me because she later told me she would have rather died than live with the side effects.

I started to make her lift weights and take various vitamins, supplements (a lot of the same ones you take from anabolicfitness shop) and this is no bs, but her counts improved so much, the dr's believed their 'miracle drug' was the cure. Little did they know she hadn't taken their drug which left her bed ridden and extremely ill, for a long time. So I am a firm believer in supplements for everyone.

I was curious about the ginger, because some of the guys on the anabolic board said within a few days of taking it, they noticed it helped them digest their protein better. Well, in other words they said it got rid of their 'protein farts' (lol, it had to be said!!). And one person said it helped with the bloat of constant eating. Have you seen anything like that (and no I'm not asking about protein gas, well maybe LOL)? I just read Alex's post, I didn't even know it had so many other benefits.

Now onto what I take on a daily basis I take 2 time released vit. c capsules, 3 vitamin e caps, 1 serving of a multi, 6 green tea caps (spread through out the day), 4 cranberry extract caps, 6 milk thistle caps, 15-20 rala spread out with certain meals, 2 potassium tablets, 3 glucosamine tablets, 2 fish oil caps, 1 omega 3 cap (I find that the combination of the fish oil, omega 3 and glucosamine tabs really help with joint pain. I guess even at 25, the heavy lifting is taking it's toll!), zinc/magnesium combo before bed, zinc nose spray once before traing and after, 2 servings of no-xplode, a few t-rex to help get my day going (I find it gives me a nice 'clean' energy rather than a jittery one), p7, yohimburn, 1 co-q10 cap, 4 pure cee caps, 2 servings of glutamine peptides, 4 saw palmetto caps, 2 niacin caps, some melatonin to go along with the p7 before bed and about 15 scoops of whey (spread out of course).

That's my daily supplement intake. It's all spread out with various meals, pre and post training, etc. And no, I don't work for anafit either, lol. I love when people accuse others of that when you take a certain companies supplements. I think people love anabolicfitness products for the simple reason of them actually working. As we both know :p
 
C3B ... Training is my best concurrent cancer therapy (until remission clearance #1) & post chemotherapy 'therapy’ … I am miserable without it :rose:

Just wondering why you take this with food? The directions say to take it between meals.
Do you find it works better with food? Just curious cause I am thinking of trying this product as well.

That's exactly what Alicia would say, that training was her best therapy. I know that it has gotten me through some really rough spots.

I hope all goes well at you doctor appointment and that you enjoy this extended holiday weekend. :)

Buns is not necessarily using LEV as a "fat burner" but more as a health supplement.

Since there is absolutely, no scientific way for me to accurately answer that question, I'll say this ... I really try NOT to take pills on empty (keyword:try) ... and my 3 supp loads are "usually" with food ... and the Levorex is in all of em :) ... so no, I don't find it works better either way :) Personal Preference ...

You are so cute.. I met a buddhist (while waiting in the lab for blood) who taught me a chant to create joy, courage, wisdom & hope to overcome obstacles ... etc .. very cool lady ... I am VERY open minded when it comes to things such as this nature, so completely welcome it, and man was THAT the quickest physical & bloodwork EVER, different location, construction traffic so yes, I am back in 'Hades' ... :)

Plus two new sleeves for my new NANO (uploading current songs from old one), the car attachment/charger so I can jam out, a new keyboard (alex lol :)) and a new mouse ...


Now I need to get dressed and hope this 24 hr gym lets me train for free seeing I may want to be a "new Member" ...:D Hope it works :)

I KNOW you can relate ...for me something has always gotten in the way ... I got my 10 year reunion HS flyer & realized sign up deadline was June 6th ... so I missed it ... still going to check if they can make an exception, but after realizing where I should ba (back then) and where I am now ... I am just thankful I am alive, a few people a can call true friends and just at this moment, smiled thinking about my life ...

I never woulda thought...

You know, I hope I was too .. sorry if that sounds 'sad' ... stopped by P's after hitting stairs ( & decided to POUR so decided to put Nano to bed & new ear buds BITE while sprinting) I had to break out old school IPOD & still have a fit over the buds so my friend that came with me, lent me his & they still suck3d just as bad .. he knows me all too well so was LHAO.. while I had my BF's (bitch fits) .... Oh ya & the rain made sprints FUN too ... it passed though ... and I got them done .. then did about a 10-15 min cool down jog ... then realized we forgot his shirt & water at the stop so + 1 more stair & sprint for me…. He couldn’t hang :D

Funny Story ... When I got to the top of stairs (like #4) had to port-a-pot it (AGAIN) and Genius decided to pelt the Port-O-Can with two large rocks .. just so happened as soon as the door swung open either a swarm of wasps or bees came flying out & he got stung for each of the two stones that ricocheted off the pot … Ummm, right in the Nip too ... :) Totally thinks I cursed him, but the welt on his cheat was HUGE .... & need to get my seats reconditioned b/c of all the dang sweat ... It was like 85 & humid + rain ... no towels, no mats (from previous cleaning) so it was a crappy day, crabby workout, PITA mission but in the end I can laugh ... so yes, it was a good holiday :) I want to call him to go bowling but I still may hit 24 hour gym later & need to eat ... my equilibrium & just ME have been 'off' ... Maybe I just need to go to bed…

Chillin' in my fresh change of clothes ... not enough food ... missed supp load # 2 ... (food finally done) so thank you Jens, my holiday is good b/c I got in a good workout, had a few good laughs, got so see my parents, my puppy, permission to eat their food (green beans, Idaho Tato & chicken ... NOT the Pizza Hut in the Fridge ... ) and I am thankful for that ...

(Can ya tell I am really trying to focus of the positive here?)

Now I am NOT hung up on this number, I LOOK great ... what matters is the difference in the skinfolds ... seeing the definition, my face lean out, the cuts ... and now the drops in the actual pinch sites is just fantastic ... and the look on my girl doing the pinches is even better I still drink over 2 gallons of water a day, and I feel I look puffy & watery ... with that said

I feel my pre/post workout nutrition, along with my #1 Diet, #2 Training, and #3 Supps are all contributing factors. Again DIET DIET DIET being # 1. My focus is to drop BF & cut, but not as fast as I did 1st time around.

- Have been indulging in more frequent refeeds than usual, and SCALE weight does not budge the next day … THAT is messed up and I anticipate WILL not be the case for very long… Diet changed as of ~ 2 days ago …

- Higher reps Low Weight is now focus … I do not feel Strength is at ALL compromised … however I am trying to prevent injury & aggravating some angry muscles :) … ***Purchased another Deep Tissue to make that COMMITMENT (which if you know me, I never usually do … just have to schedule it ***

- Scale Weight Continuing to drop, Still NO LBM has been lost, only gains since I started my cut, clean diet, lower cals & insane training regime … I :heart: me … I do not foresee the weight leaving the 150’s at my leanest .. I have way too much muscle to get to the 138 area as I was in April _05 for the photo shoot

- The trainer doing my pinches did finally notice the total boobage shrinkage :D and over shape of my legs, the peaks in my shoulders & striations apparent not pumped at all … abs visible, calves viable & ab veins visible …

- AS ALWAYS … I am NOT hung up on these numbers, again, it is a pleasant surprise to see I am on the right track considering this emotional roller coaster I have put myself on … :) … Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

- Still feel that dumping ANY alcohol consumption has worked for my body & mind & ability to drop Fat much easier... So when I take my 1st sip Memorial Day weekend sometime, it will be enjoyable, yet tough at the same time, since I have NO inclination to drink at this point … Nice Glass of wine to go with a big fat Prime Rib will suffice …

- Refeeds are NOT a bad things… any type of nuts have turned into my ANPB … those have been tossed and other courses of fats will be implemented… particularly looking for Fish Oil caps

- Scale Weight Lowest it have ever been, First drop in LBM since I started Cut in ~ Feb 05 …

- Kidney Infection (which IMO & had NOTHING to do with my Protein intake BTW …) resulted in the 2.5 weeks off training, off any normal type of ‘diet’, followed by low to minimal protein, No PureCee …

- I have no qualms with the above …

We know you're goal is the fitness industry so you need to look the part... staying lean year round is what you gotta do.
