Hi guys,
I am currently bulking and i want to be ripped at 176 pounds. I am not trying to be a bodybuilding i am doing this for a stronger physique. I am 18 years of age and started bulking this year.
I am approx 5'8" and iam currently 160 pounds (weighed in the morning). So far i have gained 30 pounds in 6 months and i just need some advice. My body fat % was previously 6 % (when i was competing in martial arts) but obviously has gone up to 15%.
I can still see my abdominals easily in the mirror, i just have trouble seeing the lower two.
My current workout and lifting stats are as follows:
Lifting stats:
Bench: 211pounds (one rep)
Squat: 286 pounds (4 reps, haven't tested one rep)
DL: 286 pounds (one rep)
Workout routine: i have approx 2 - 3 mins rest depending on set.
Monday: Chest
Bench: 6, 6, 5, 3, 3, 3,(ramping each set)
Weighted Dips: 10kg.
5 sets reps:to failure
tuesday: Back
Weighted pull ups 10kg: 5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5 (towards the end, need a spot)
DL: 6, 6, 5, 3, 3, 3, (ramping each set)
Wednesday: REST
Thursday: Shoulders
Overhead press: 6, 6, 5, 3, 3, 3, (ramping each set)
Power Clean: 5 sets of 3 (ramping each set)
Friday: bi's and Tri's (recently started again)
Bi's: 4 sets of each, around 6 - 10 reps
Alternating seated curls
Standing ezy bar curl
Preacher curl
Tri's: 4 sets of each, around 6 - 10 reps
Close grip bench
Skull crushers
Straight bar push down
Saturday: LEGS!!!!
Squat: 6, 6, 5, 3, 3, 3, (ramping each set)
Leg press: 5 sets reps of 10 (ramping each set)
I AM NOT CALLING OR GIVING MY SELF A TITLE OF BODYBUILDER, NOR AM I GIVING MY SELF A TITLE OF A POWERLIFTER.
I just need some advice and supplement advice. I am currently using Dymatize Mega Gainer, BUT i have been advised to switch to a 100% whey protein shake, i need advice on which 100% protein brand i should use.
