Breakfast help...

I eat breakfast at about 9:30am and work out at 11. I'm trying to figure out the best breakfast combination. Right now I'm eating:

3/4 cup oatmeal
1 scoop whey
little bit of yogurt
couple of egg whites

It comes out to be about 400 calories, 40g protein and 50g carbs.

I'm 5'9, 135 lbs. Am I overdoing it on the oatmeal or protein?
 
You ca make pancakes ahead of time and nuke them.
1c. uncooked oatmeal (not instant)
8 egg whites
3/4 c. cottage cheese
cinnamon to taste

Make it smooth in a blender and cook w/ some pam in a n/s skillet. Put sugar free preserves on it. Takes 15 min tops.
 
It looks good bro, but I know for myself, I need a lot more carbs (both complex and simple). Adding fruit is a good idea as harhar said :)
 
Sounds like an awsome meal.
What kind of oatmeal and what do you mean by egg whites.
Sry im not a girl and dont know much bout cooking and that sort.

can i make this a day before and eat it the next day?
 
Good breakfast, as you need to keep the cals up, assuming youre looking to gain size. My "Anabolic Pancake" recipe: 1cup dry old fashioned oats, 1-1.5cup eggwhites (you can buy eggwhites in a carton and just measure them out).
blend together until you get a smooth batter and cook in skillet, flip when 1 side turns golden brown. You can throw some cinnamon and/or vanilla extract in the blender if you like or top with sugar free syrup. Cary's Sugar Free Syrup is my favorite.
