geez f*Ck
haters must be born with blinders on
i was not a bb fan on the onset
and it was not because he joined my giants
i followed his workouts
his studies of pitchers
i watched while he was at pittsburg play the bravos several times a year
i watched when he came to my giants embraced by his dad a great hitter in his own right, bobby bonds
i watched his godfather, willie mays acknowledge him as a great hitter perhaps the best
he was a potent base stealer in his prime
sure he doesn't leg it out these days but who does
love to see d.ortiz slide into first base

silly silly people
bow down and confess
"i am a bb hater"
that said
just watch him at bat
watch his eyes
watch his hands
watch his hips
stop that! i did not say watch that!
there is only one slugger i liked watching swing better
will "the trill" clark
wish they had played at the same time

wait wait that doesnt put anything into perspective for me....i mean jesus arguablly one of the greatest knuckleballers in the history of the game was hoyt wilhem, juan marchial had like a million pitches, sandy koufax threw every pitch even a screw ball which fucks wit ur elbow real bad, so in my humble opinion he was totally wrong
his god father willie mays and his own father bobby bonds played with juan marchial and against sandy koufax in the early glory days of the san fran giants but who did they have batting practice against?
and both acknowledge barry as a the protypical batter
bobby bonds who never quite lived up to his hype was a consumate 30-30 man and almost the first 40-40 man had barry with him most all the times on the road
barry's "lack of social skills" can be directly attributed to the fact most of his friends wer pro baseball players
bobby was a great hitter so was willie
these men directly influenced barry
you can't see him thinking as he's at bat
so what if he juiced
does that affect the fact that he can predict what ball's coming next
i seriously doubt it affects hand-eye coordination if it did tennis players would be juicing
might as well say lance armstrong juices
because someone is phenomal he has to juice??
oh yea....albert einstein juiced?
who?.....just some economist
stop your hating

flaxoil seed or not he's still the best player ever to step on a baseball diamond
