Best tricep exercise?

What is the best tricep exercise to hit the tricep at the back of your arm? So that when you do a front double bicep pose your triceps hang like monsters.
 
Well - I never like to identify one solitary exercise as the very best - but I would have to say: skullcrushers....

...again, though, I think they would be useless without combining them in a complete workout with other exercises....
 
cable pulldowns, i find it fills the tricep with blood because your able to isolate it so well. Like Stryc-9 said, 1 exercise won't do crap unless you mix it up with other movements.

Add this exercise along with what Stryc and Cure said... overhead close-grip cable presses (with rope attachment). Don't know that exact name for it, but I hope you guys get the idea of it. I can really feel it at the top of tri.

one hand reverse pulldown...so you are pulling down the cable with your palm facing up....trust me that will kill the back of your arm, gave me the shape that mine are right now

ps. you definitely want to work that in with other exercises to in case you were un-aware to that fact.
 
on that close grip bench, if you do reserve grip close grip and take and press the bar from you stomach area not your chest area you will feel the burn a lot more than with normal close grip, IMO.

single arm over the head tricep press (bicep pressed against ear and weight moved behind head)

that's my favorite
 
E-Z bar overhead triceps extensions and skullcrushers or E-Z bar lying triceps extensions are great for the long heads of the triceps.
