I know it is a bit relative, but this movement is only for the very very strong in my opinion. I seriously doubt that many females out there could do this movement, at least not with full range reps.

Well Spatts isn't your typical female...far from it. If it wasn't for her bad shoulder she could probably do them...at least with her feet on the floor..if not with her feet on the bench. Once the shoulder gets more stable it is definitely something that we will add to the "prehab" routine.

NOT with your shoulder....not yet anyway. If you think the bands are unstable...the rings are just as bad. One wrong move and your shoulder will POP again.

You know, Hannibal, I agree with you an awful lot. You should probably seek help. :)

Yeah, whatever is wrong with you and I aint no little thing.....

Not for females.....pfffft.

Women skilled in Pilates (...ahem...) do that as part of the basic routine.

Now don't get your panties in a ruffle spatts, I know you are no typical female, and I thought long and hard before even posting that earlier. I did not mean to offend, it is just that some things are different between men and women.

Females usually have a hard time with pullups too. I was just throwing out a warning because I would hate to hear about someone trying these and ending up face planting. They are not easy to do.

Ask Screwball and bigokie, they just left my house and we did these today.

I typed all of this very sheepishly, I would hate to have my ass handed to me by a female over this, and I know if anyone out there could do it, it is you.

(Bowing and scraping as he leaves)

:lmao:

No offense taken. I know I can do them. With training, I'm sure any woman could. There's nothing gender specific about that movement. If something about that movement required testes or excessive nose or ear hair, I might give it further thought.

Honestly, they don't look that hard. I guess I'll find out.
