Elementality

how bad is beer for you on a body fat level? its got carbs n some calories, but if ur aiming at a certain carb level/calorie level anyway and beer brings you to it, or maybe sometimes SLIGHTLY above how bad is that for cutting....is it like eating white bread or something?

MMMMMMMM...................beer.............. :drink2:

Well, even if it is bad for us, we are men so we will drink beer (always have and always will), then it should at least be good beer:

Scaldis
Tucher
Schneider

But, it's empty calories...for the most part. Which is something you want to avoid either way.

1st of all an occaisional beer wont wreck your diet.

besides the poor nutritional content of beer the alcohol inhibits the breakdown of nutrients into usable molecules by decreasing secretion of digestive enzymes from the pancreas. Alcohol impairs nutrient absorption by damaging the cells lining the stomach and intestines and disabling transport of some nutrients into the blood. Even if nutrients are digested and absorbed, alcohol can prevent them from being fully utilized by altering their transport, storage, and excretion.

Yes, alcohol is horrible on the digestive lining of the upper intestine. A small libation here and there shouldn't hurt, but daily consumption can really mess up nutrient absorption.

Id stay away from it whilst cutting. Id stay away from ANY food hat isnt part of your cutting diet.

But when you no cutting go for it.
Persoanlly I hate the taste of beer, I like Rum and Cola. I counted it 1 Night that i got over 1000 cals from the drinks themselves.

And if your lucky at the party/whatever if they have any chicken or meat to eat, hook in. I did this it seemed to have only a positive effect on my body.
Weird eh?

I lost weight, the operative word weight (I wasn't watching the fat or muscle) once on what I call my 'playstation' diet.

All I was doing was being addicted to Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider, drinking little Stella Atois most of the day and maybe one or two meals a day.

I did this for about two weeks before I started one new job, it was a bit of a holiday at home for me.

This was before I was a BBer of course.

Alcohol has 7 kcals/g, fat has 9 kcals/g and protein and carbs have 4 kcals/g.

I think that red wine are spirits are better choices if you really have to have an occasional drink.

Some call beer liquid bread. I would factor it into your daily calories.

screw alcohol man. The shit causes brain damage, liver disease and heart damage, hangovers, gets you arrested for oui. Shit like that.

beer packs on the calories and makes me go on a junk food binger the next day.

stick with the blunts if you feel you need to "feel" good with substances. :artist:
