I dissagree, I would think the timing of carbs is pretty important, especially after a work out, and late at night, as that extra energy has nowhere to go except your gut.
if your cutting... eat carbs in the morning so you can burn them throughout the day and during your workout and consume the protein throughout the day like usual.
Yes I to believe this is true...However there are more optimal times during the day to eat carbs.....Also eating fats at night with your protein slows the digestion down and will hopefully keep you tied over till morning.

Common misconception mi hombre. The time of day you consume your calories is irrelevent. Only the intake to expenditure ratio is important.
my thoughts are that total cal expenditure during the day is true, but also carb timing is needed, carbs turn into fat the easiest, if you eat them without burning them there going to get stored(as fat)
