So bros is bacon something you can have a few times a week while following a cutting cycle, it's high in fat but I have seen on 70% of salad recipes they add it for sheer tates... I'm under the impression that as long as you don't raise insulin levels during that meal, you can eat pretty high fat and still be alright...

Come on man. You know that bacon shouldn't be regularly incorporated into a diet. For the occasional cheat meal here and there - no problem but it's not something you should be eating on a regular basis.

Pork really isn't a good food choice. It has the lowest bioavailability out of any meat and a very poor amino acid profile. It is very low in Leucine. Pork also has more fat and calories gram per gram then poultry, beef, fish etc. It's ok for the occasional cheat meal here and there but it's not sketching you should regularly have in your diet. Pigs are absolute garbage guts as well. My sister is in pre veterinary school and they have to be super careful to make sure there is no pop cans or garbage in the pig pens or the animals will actually start to eat it. Farmers sell the meat by weight and feed the animals absolute crap knowing they will eat whatever.

There is very little protein in bacon. It is mostly fat.

Stick with lean protein sources like skinless poultry, wild fish, grass fed beef, egg whites, whey isolate etc

processed foods, including and especially things like bacon (yes turkey bacon too), sausage, cold cuts, hot dogs, etc. are the worst things to put in your body

they are extremely acidic in the body and are the definition of GUT FOOD.. plus they are nasty foods. once you stop eating them you will never want to eat them again

It will depend on the actual quantity. If you are talking about using it in salads there is probably half a piece in there. That is not a huge deal. It is not something I would eat every day but when you do, keep the portion size small.
