anyone feel like they're cheating?

I don't subscribe to the "cheating" theory, since that's the attitude perpetuated by the mainstream, uninformed media. You don't sit on your couch eating potato chips, stick a needle in your ass and get huge.

It comes down to the individual and their feelings. If you get more satisfaction out of doing things the natural way, then go for it. If you prefer to go the chemical route, more power to you.

We hypocritically use "legal" substances like beer or cigarettes to attain a certain state of mind all the time. I use coffee every morning to get me going. The concept is all the same, I think it's attitude of the society we live in that influences our feelings on it.

Fuckin A Brother!!!, in a nutshell thats my argument to most of my narrowminded friends who are totally uninformed and go by the common stereotype of steroids and people on them.

2 years ago i would have agreed with you completely but not after growing up a little bit and not being so immature i totally agree with stuck's post #15 on this thread.

immature? hardly. Try HONESTY :qt:

Of course its hard work throwing around a ton of iron week in and week out...this seems to be the crutch everyone is leaning on. Training is hard naturally and using AAS. So they cancel each other. Now , ask yourself:

Could you bench 350 without juice? I actualy did 315 in high school naturally. Could I bench 405 without juice? NOPE! Simple as that.

I use myself but I am honest. Most people get scared or defensive in the face of Truth. I dont.

Quite frankly, I dont feel like Im cheating at all. Is it cheating to not go get drunk with the guys at the bar friday night? Is it cheating to take creatine or l glutamine...or even vitamin supplements instead of eating all the right fruits etc?

Not to mention all it takes is one look at that 85 yr old guy (cant think of his name) that still has a 6 pack and looks like hes 50 years younger and any thoughts of it being "cheating" fly out the door quite fast.

Well I'm a college football player and to tell you the truth I dont feel like cheating shit!!! To me its a tool!, the roids are not going to do the lifts for me or is going to run the sprints for me!!. I personally just started using gear about 2 weeks ago but I have taken PH'S Cycles before that got awesome gains from!!!. And yes I have taken creatine and all supplements I personally had a good base before starting to take any PH'S OR GEAR I was 210lbs already benching 325lbs and squatting 505lbs for max without ever taking nothing!! just creatine, Whey protein etc....., so Roids pretty much have broken that plato!! thats just my .02 cents

I felt like i had been cheating earlier on today when I arrived at my Girlfreinds house..............

... The again, I had been out all night with her best friend. That is what this thread is about, right? :worried:

Seriously though, if one more non gear user tells me that steroid muscle is "fake" im gonna flip out in a roid rage style and stab them through the eye with an 18 gauge needle.

anyone feel like theyre cheating to the point that they stopped juicing just because of that? has anyone felt that the muscle isnt "real"-for lack of a better word, or the muscle is OH TOO REAL to have those feelings....?
does anyone feel that they arnt on the same level as someone who is the same size naturally? i guess thats what i meant by real/fake.

It doesn't matter how you get there, as long as you arrive.

First off i wasnt calling you immature, for some it may be a crutch thats true because i here it alot from guys then i watch them work out and its pathetic but they will defend themselves to the end and some will say yeah i got it all from a bottle, but me personally i stayed natural from 3 months before i was 18 until 6 months after i was 21 and yes i benched 350 natural but i also weighed between 245 and 250 when i did it and i also started lifting at 180 pounds, im proud of the work i put in and i will defend that, as well as everything else i have accomplished since i did my cycle a year ago to anyone and thats my honest truth.

Honestly i think "fake" is the guys who have juiced since they were juniors in highschool (I know several) and deny and bragg "OH Well i did 405 last week" 2 months later they are struggling with 295 because they were to lazy to put in the pre and post cycle work it takes. Now if someone works hard all the time and has a sound commitment and has accomplished quite a bit naturally or between cycles, and wants that extra edge and awesome feeling in the gym once or twice a year then i will accept that as "real" because there is visible real work there. This is an awesome thread, because i have this conversation in different ways with people all the time and some agree and some disagree with me but oh well im pretty happy and comfortable with what i do, but nevertheless the "REAL OR FAKE" debate will probably be debated forever.

I too am very proud of the hours and hours of work I have put in the gym since I was 14 years old! I am now 33 and NOBODY is gonna tell me I "cheated" to get this body. I sweat out every single rep. HOWEVER I know for a fact I would NOT look this good without AAS PERIOD!
Perhaps the word "cheat" is not exactly pertinent to AAS but damn close ;)

Yeah I did one short cycle and felt I was cheating. As I know well how I progress naturally, I knew what gains came from the steroid I was using.
Some people were impressed about my growth but I was feeling like an hypocrit.
