ala 200mg 4X a day a waste of time/money?

im taking 200mg of ala 4X a day with my meals that have carbs 30grams a piece...300mg with my post w.o meal that has more

i cannot afford to mega dose, can i still benfit from the fat loss effects or should i not bother.

its just regular ass ala, not that new R stuff.

I'm only taking 1200mg of Jarrow Sustain regular ALA...and I can say it's working great for keeping me in ketosis and getting me there faster. the most i've taken is 600mg with one meal.

I posted elsewhere that i reached ketosis faster than ever before because of ALA.

so for me, regular racemic ALA was good..I can only guess r-ala might be better.
