Hello Girls

Ok I am new here and I am using my Boyfriend user name my name is Jennifer not Zcrew lol. Anyway I had a small question to ask I know that the best time to do cardio is on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, but I am worried about loosing too much muscle so my question is if I had a protien drink before I went (nectar's caribbean cooler it has zero carbs and zero sugar and I only have it with water) would I still get the same waight lose affect as if I didn't have it? Plus I tend to feel sick if I go completely empty like that, I feel better when I have this drink. I was aslo wondering if any of you could tell me anything about whinny. My boyfriend is getting some whinny capsuls in and I was wanting to try a small dose nothing big. Like say 3mg is this too small of a does to even get any kind of results? I would only be trying it for about 3 weeks. I have heard that it will make your muscles more dense and you more vascular and lean, of course with a clean diet and good workout plan that is. is this all true? I really wanted to try Var but other things came up and couldn't afford it this time around. I have been weight training now for 4 years and I am just wanting to try and get beyond my platue without any serious sides or any at all. My diet is clean my weight is 142lbs and I try to take in at least 145g protein a day, 120-140g carbs a day and about 20-50g of fat a day. I eat mostly veggies for carbs except in the morning I eat oat bran and once or twice a week I will have pasta for supper. Anyway any info on whinny or Var is great. Thanks so much Talk to you all later.

Jenn

First I am directing you to Daisy's sticky at the top for a good overall intro to diet, training & some overview of steroids.

My first question is, if you are worried about losing muscle to cardio, how much cardio are you doing and how much training are you doing? I would cut the cardio down before I looked to using steroids to maintain muscle mass. You don't mention your lifting schedule, but over the four years you've trained, have you trained consistently & with intensity? Have you seen results from what you've done? What is your body type? Do you tend to gain muscle easily? Fat easily? (Me personally, I gain both muscle & fat - thus I have a certain amount of muscle I can afford to sacrifice if needed because it takes me a lot of cardio to achieve fat loss.)

Before that I would also look to modifying the diet if you are at a plateau in bodyfat lost. Diet will definitely get you easier, more retainable results in both fat loss & muscle maintenance than will worrying about an extra day of cardio or not.

Winny, as you will read in Daisy's link, is not the AAS of choice, especially for a first cycle. I would encourage you to look through the posts on EF and gather as much information as you can to educate yourself about using steroids in the first place. It takes a reasonable cycle time & dose to see results - my guess is something like 8 weeks at 5-10 mg/day. 3 mg for 3 weeks probably won't do anything. Winny is also a very individual drug when it comes to how people respond - some may experience more oily skin & hair, acne, some scratchy voice from it. (That's why var is preferred - much more predictable & very few sides.)

Just to explore the options, can you post your diet & training schedules? It may be that you can achieve what you want without going into the steroids, at least until you are at a point where you are more knowledgeable about the whole thing, can get var & have planned your whole cycle approach.

jenn - diet looks pretty good, you can drop your carbs a little lower to get better weight loss results, do a little at a time for a few weeks.

now about the drugs. I would not touch Winny if I was you - many reasons:

1) yes, winny is an AAS that is used a lot during the cutting cycles and yes, you can see the changes in your look, but they only stay when you are on and when you get off - they go away.

2) Cutting cycles - they are all about protecting your muscle when you drop your calories and carb intake

3) so.. bottom line - stay away from Winny (esp tabs - they are hursh on your liver), play with your diet
