A new toy...:)

Well...I did some Viking Press tonight as well as some extra lifting...but nothing amazing. I did 305 x 5 on the Viking Press though...so I am on my way back.

I did some Inclines today instead of flats or board presses...
315 x 5

I also put together some rail road ties with 2x4's and decided to flip them end over end (similar but harder than a Fingle Finger). It was one of those ideas similar to the Duck Walk. It SOUNDED really fun...but sucks!!!! lol

For some reason when I compressed this file it looks HORRIBLE!!! Not sure why...but maybe you can get the idea (it was night outside).

BFold, not sure if you would know, but what are the weights of the heaviest and lightest fingers used in the Strongman Comp?

Changes from contest to contest...

Only one person has a set in the U.S.

Maybe its possible to get someone to make one finger, and just put weights on it somehow to make it heavier

Yes...and it would cost an arm and a leg...

It wouldn't do a lot of good to set up ONE finger unless you could fip it repeatedly. The one I made is about 400 pounds or so...and sucks...lol. I mean...a good set-up but is NOT fun to do...lol. It will work very well but will cause much pain :)

Note that I nailed TWO of them together.

Do they have to be metal? ( the real fingals I mean) Couldn't you get some big long thinish logs, drill a hole through them near the bottom, create a small anchorable base that has a pin that slides through sed log and you're away. Or maybe this is the process that costs a lot, I'm not sure.

I really don't have a place to store or transport 5 fingers...

I guess that my point of making what I did has been lost somewhere. I have no desire to have a set of fingle fingers (unless I hit the lottery and inherit the field behind my home...lol.)

I saw an event on TV where the competitors were flipping two railroad ties (like in my video) for 100'...fastest time wins. Most did not finish. Not only would this be good for cardio and total body conditioning...it would help with the tire flip and would be great training for the actual fingers.

I was looking around at a local welding shop this past spring, and saw an old pipe sitting out back, that is maybe 8" diameter, and 9-10' long. They sold it,to me for $10 :D (it probably came from some ones septic tank,or a sewer lol ) so every once in a while Ill do the same sort of thing you are talking about, and just flip it around the yard.I figured out a way to make it longer, and add weight, but for now this is ok,and is "fun"
