This may not be new info. but I have never seen it posted befor, so there. I have stumbled upon "non-fat instant dry milk", this is inexpensive, fatfree, 12 grams of carbs, 80 cal., and 10 grams of protien. It can obviousely be mixed with anything from protien shakes to fatfree powdered sauces etc... it's also lacto free! I have been able to boost my protien by 60 to 70 grams per day without eating more food to do it. And of course it makes bland diet food taste better as well. does anyone know of other supplements like this?

The brand I use is "wabash heritage" but i've noticed that each store has many different brands that can vary on ingredients.

believe it or not the generic brands seem to be the best ingredient-wise.

I've actually noticed that too. Less on taste and more on nutrition means it's less processed and less expensive. Always go for the savings.

What does it taste like ?

Sounds good as long as you don't care about that much carbs

This has been around since like forever lol. It's just powdered dry milk.

IT TASTES LIKE ASS!

Do not drink it by itself, but it is ok to add it with protein shakes and blender bombs, but that's it!

Ass is right...that is why it needs to be added to stuff...I figured wasn't reinventing the wheel with this post, just never seen it talked about befor. Cooking with it is great though!

If it's just ordinary powdered dry milk then whatabout the issue of lactose?

I'd guess that cheap powdered dry milk would not have had 99% of lactose removed and would be problematic to lactose-intorelant individuals such as myself?
