7 Weeks to a Shredded ME!...

Damn sarge lookin MUCH better. Better pics too. Love handels seem to be fading quick! Looks like you coulld be real vascular with those forames. I just have a couple real thick ones. How tall and weight you at now?

yeah i know all i used to have was the one big one... little one's running the other way are showing through... dieting sucks, but the rewards are worth it!!!

well I grew 1 foot... lol, naaa 6 foot tall.

193 lbs at the Doctor's midday weighing (friday).

Todays workout:
only had 30 some odd minutes in the gym, quick warm up 3 or so minutes on the stationary bike... then weights.

Legs...

walking lunges holding 25's 4 sets walking back and forth the gym
supersetted with:
Step-ups (slightly above knee height.. used all the stacks they had) holding 25's and 45's ... back and forth 4 sets i think

some calve raises.

and the real kicker...
gym closed, drove to the 1/4 mile track and ran the blechers there for 20 minutes, 3 or 4 quick sit down breaks..

my lungs have not hurt so bad since back in high school... lol, i'm still coughing!

I'd still call it a semi-heavy leg day, no full on compound movements but deff worked the legs hard.

Diet's good.... I'll admit, i did cheat... 2 SMALL peices of pizza... but took my sesapure and gluc-r of course. No going out, zero alcohol still... so I deem it "ok" and still under what my calories would be if I had gone out... feelin' good... wanna take a damn nap though after that workout.
 
30 minutes or NOT... THAT leg workout was awesome ... Bleacher, Stairs, etc... you got the right idea...

Slightly sore...nothing really noticable though!

I love the kickbacks...reverses are rough specially cuz i had an incline/decline road i was doing it on... lol..almost busted my ass a few times!

Heel to ASS BABY!... no back arch, my feet fly and i don't go very fast forward but my feet fly... know what i mean?!

I'm hoping doing them 3 - 4 times a week it'll definetly have a positive impact on my physique... we will see in what ways exactly.

Already noticing my quads poping a little more.. i see hints of that "pointer" middle muscle on the quad (don't feel like looking it up) coming through.

Morning sprints I think helped me more then anything. But they are real hard to get up and do on the days you can sleep in.

When I get strict on my diet I always cook up those Bulk bags of skinless chicken breast. One in italian dressing. Some with a little BBQ. I know BBQ has sugar....but what the fuck. They are a great source of fast protien. And the summer is comming. BBQ time.

Captains of Crush Grips #1 and #2 came today!

#1 closed
#2 1/3 closed, lol.

WOOHOO... oh and i'm pretty much TOTALY right hand dominate... my left grip come to find out blows, i can't close the #1 with left grip:(

oh well... this will help training with pulling lifts big time in the future... glad i can't ditch the cheap olympia sports grips now though!

haha I cant wait to get my 2 ad 3. I heard the 2 is about the same as the 250...you will get it but it takes time. The funny thing is its the last 1/4 inch thats the hardest. You like em though? Lmao keep em where you can see em. Its hard for me to walk by them without giving one a shot.

Incline DB Presses 4 sets up to 75's and my shoulder and left elbow gave out... argh!... so went straight to delt workout.
Seated Military DB Presses 4 sets
side lateral raises 2 sets
Cable 'crossover' the body side lateral raises 2 sets
Power Cleans up to 185x4
- changed outa my pants cuz it's hot as hell today and busted out the muscle tank "Y" back, cuz i felt good and pumped... dieting sucks but the reward is FUCKING AWESOME!

went back for more chest figured
my rotator had a little break..

I'm going to have to attend them ;) and check it out... I've never been to a BB show!
 
dude its kinda wierd. But I have never had shoulder idscomfort whats so ever. Sure nough today....felt funny after lifts but fine when lifting. I wont know until a wrkout was that good until 1-3 days after. sometimes I think I have destroyed a group and then nothing. Other times I feel that i didnt do anything and Im sore as shit for a week. Just cause you felt blah doesnt nesicarly mean it was.
 
Legs got some abused tonight.

2 minute bike warm up.

ATG Squats 4 sets... last 1-2 reps I like to explode from the bottom of the movement....literally explode, i jump up and make the plates "clank."

Walking Lunges 2 passes... wimped out, lol... not gunna lie.

Step-ups weighted 4 sets.

Seated Calve raises 3 sets

Standing Calve raises (started with one leg at a time). 2 sets

Sweated my ASS off... that place either needs to open some windows or crank the A/C or maybe it's just me... cuz i didn't see other ppl sweating like i was... maybe it was the Rexin'... i dunno, but i was fuggin' soaked more than usual.

Overall rating: Good workout.

This morning my hip flexors were hating me... felt the sprints big time this morning.

Havin' fun with the grips... the #2 will get closed in a week or so I think if I keep at it.

Hell yea.I am giving my grip a couple days rest. After I got the 250 I just kept doing it. They get so pumped so easily. I think thats why I like it so much. Its like you can workout on the couch. ;)

I cant handel getting a shake down in my workout. I eat and wait a half hour. Take all suppelemtns... pureCee . TRex.. Multi. Then go to the gym with a liter of ICed tea (homemade strong) And drink that on the way and during warm up. And By that time I have TONS of energy. hehehe. I tried a protien shake during a workout and it came right up after heavy squats...duh. But thats just me. Maybe one day ill try it agan on non leg day. If I eat anything to close to a workout beween the grunts it wants to come up and breaks my focus of my lifts. Whatever works for you.

I had a fairly good weekend, really busy... went out for the first time in 2 weeks of isolating myself... carbed up Sunday :evil: I looked SICK last night from the carb up... i NEVER like my body at night... guess the Carb up was much needed!

Last night...

Chest, Delts, Cardio

Flat DB Bench: 4 sets
Seated DB Military: 4 sets (2 sets Ahnold)
^^^ went up to 60's and my left rotator decided to not want to stay "in line" and the DB just started going back, i was like "AHHH SHIT!" and let go of it before it tore my ball joint out... then I repped out the 50's. Damn rotators... Not sure why, but I always... in SOME way have an issue when them!
DB Side Lateral Raises: 2 sets
Cable (Single) Side Laterals: 3 sets
Chest high Cable Flys: 4 sets
Flat BB Bench: 3 sets

10 minutes of cardio... semi HIIT... it was quality, i wanted to stay on... lol, but it was getting late.

Late Dinner Meeting tonight... no gym, hopefully if it's still semi-light out I'll be able to get some sprints done... and maybe some Clean-Squat-Jumps in...

I dunno if I made that up or not... but it's a great movement :evil:

Sarge ... are you stretching .. at all.... ever? .. I mean really stretching? I really think you need to start, YES it sucks, is boring etc... you get the right stretches in, it WILL help improve ... need to get some massage work in there as well ... :idea:

The first of many with my old/new training partner again.

Strong guy... ~ 360 lbs (Football build, HUGE calves)... if he sticks with it and keeps showing up and working out with me... he'll be a compelty different person. I want to talk to him more outside the gym to get his goals and whatnot cuz he's gotta have about 230+ pounds of MUSCLE under there, he's got tons of potential... maybe i'll get him here on EF too :evil:

I need to start doing rotator strengthining at home too... they're simple movements I just need to DO them.

anyway, a GF told me "First work the muscle belly, and do the insertions last ... apply pressure, hold for about 10 seonds and lightly bring your finger up off it ... "

I do it all the time, at the gym, in the mirrors, at work (not in front of the others, they are afraid of my muscles) ...

Don't You worry ... I will be callin' them out... just WAIT ...

This was a first for me... went to the gym for CARDIO ONLY.

Treadmill...15 minutes semi HIIT

StepMill... I dont' even know, 2 "sets" until i couldn't do it anymore... I think i climbed 30 flights or so? sweated my ASS off.
I used level 10... 7... then up to 12 both times.... does it go higher? i dunno..

Bike... 15 minutes more...

I did cardio for a good 45 solid minutes total I think...

Seated Calve raises 3 sets
Hypers 3 sets
leg raises... 1 set, those are boring, i don't like them.

Excellent Cardio session... my shirt hasn't been this soaked in a while, i need to do this a few times a week.... these cardio sessions, good stuff... along with my sprint sessions? I dunno... maybe alternate "gym cardio weeks" and outside sprints.

Step Mill is my favorite cardio. I do them exspecially next day after squats/legs. And those days a level 5 is most challenging....... :evil:
