Hey guys.. Just got told getting a few fully impacted wisdom teeth and such out in a day surgery next week.. And doc has said no solids for around 3-4, preferably 4 weeks :/
(I know it seems long but that's not the point, I'll see how it goes lol)

I know a few of you have been through getting a bunch out at once...

But I've never thought how you'd manage to eat a decent diet of just liquids... :S I know there's soup.. And puréed food..
But Anyone got any experience/recipes with hitting their protein macros (I can hit carbs and fat easily I'd guess..) and such from simply liquid (I know you can't just drink protein 6x a day haha)
Cheers guys

you have to be careful after getting wisdoms pulled drinking anything hot or sucking on a straw etc. you can develop dry socket.. your dentist should have or will inform you of this.

so soup is fine as long as you let it cool.. i think you should make a huge pot of chicken soup with some rice.. make the chicken in small pieces so you don't need to chew it.. just put in mouth and swallow. after you cook it stick it in the fridge and only slightly warm to eat.

Yeah man I remember you saying about dry socket, went through pre op info an it was there. Exposed bone.. Ouch. /:
Yeah I'm thinking of making stocks and adding chicken shredded if I can stomach it.. Not sure about the rice.. Scared of it sitting in the gaps lol :(
Is soup the best thing to maintain muscle.. While unable to eat solids.. Just try blend/shred protein into it I guess?
Cheers again mate

You can always make a protein drink with water or milk and add oatmeal or peanut butter, or a combination of both, and eat it with a spoon if you mix it really well. Thats probably what I would do.
