6 foot 9 290lbs. Looking to get back in to the lifting world after quite a few years off.

Hello there fellow fitness friends. Zack here, stand 6 ft 9 around 290lbs, age 38. Have done about 6 cycles in my early 20s. But after many years off I'm focused and dedicated on getting back on my feet. Any suggestions on a simple cycle to get flowing once I drop about 35-40lbs. Also something good on the joints, standing like a red wood lol.. and all the football in my younger years. Joints and bones aren't what they use to be, whether I think so or not..lol luckily I'm not shrinking yet..lol. thanks again

Nice dog. Neo?

Man first get some time back lifting... I never suggest using gear until you've got some time back lifting.. You're gonna make progress quick for a few months... Then with what you've said I would go, test, EQ and DECA. Or just test and Deca my joints feel awesome when I use eq and Deca though. I'm fifty with more injuries than I like to talk about.

@6ft9gymrat welcome to the EF family dude
damn 6'9 290 you huge

start by sharing with our family a training log before we talk cycles

how to start a training log? see below

HOW-TO LOG?
  • To really guide you we need more info from you.
  • Please share your diet, training, cardio, sleep, supplements etc log with us in a NEW thread, full log journal so our guidance is based on facts you provide.
  • It will take 15-20 minutes max.
  • We have 100s of years of experience between us, so you need to post a LOG Journal with your stats (weight, height, age, years training, cycle history) diet, training, cardio, supplement, sleep details. If you don't log what you eat or train now, open NOTES on phone and start recording it there and paste here. Very easy.
Please post a Log Journal asap for us

Please click the anabolic forum
top RIGHT, you see: +POST THREAD
click that

in Title: write your cycle name, like> My _____ Cycle Log
___ = the name of your log
example: My Training Nutrition Log
in body: write your planned cycle or cycle you doing now, your diet, training and we will help you along on your cycle

here are examples of LOG Journals

P.S. are you listening to our podcast? if not, you should; this podcast is about steroids, sarms, peptides, and bodybuilding:

38 years old, that's not good. That you're already having joint issues. Are you using anything for that? What kind of supplements do you take?

Surprised you didn't play basketball with your height. But you're a big dude. Not too many basketball players weigh What you do, I think Shaq did

Can't thank everyone enough for all your input. I will get my log together this week and everything written out. So excited to be accepted into the elite family, really looking forward to this journey.
Age 38
Height 6'9
Weight as of 3/22- 289
Will get pics up this week as well, love to get that bodybuilding physique in the future. Understanding the hard work and determination to go with it, along with balancing the everyday home life. Thank you again to everyone, super excited to start this long dedicated journey.

Also could I get some suggestions on a great all in one daily vitamin or a vitamin stack as well as an amazing greens supplement? I'm so out of the loop over the years. Things have changed so damn much in such a short amount of time. I use to love isopure protein, with the low carbon count. Not a huge protein drink person, as I think it's been misleading over the years of the amounts to take in, and never ending list of brands these days. Thanks

Ya, football was my #1 passion.. Played in southern California before going to Northwest Missouri State, unfortunately torn Acl and Mcl before my pro day..

@6ft9gymrat before we start recommending anything lets get your Log started, you dont need to write it out, just throw up 15min of info and we will update from there, click this link below I laid out how

What position did you play with football?

Did you end up getting injuries? Or did you end up going pro?
Unfortunately injuries got the best of me, and some serious depression after a torn Acl/Mcl before my pro day. I played Offensive tackle/left side. My playing days stats were 6'9 325lbs ran a 5.1 40. Not the fastest but alot of mass moving lol.. 225 bench for 29 reps.

are you going to start a log for the EF family bro?

Hello Elite family, I apologize for my delay on the log. I will have pictures and log up tomorrow. Had a sudden death in the family been dealing with. Couldn't be any better time to surround myself around good people and get back into what I love. Thanks again fam

Hows it all going man? Life takes over at times aye, speedy recovery to the family my condolences!!❤️

Looking forward to seeing your updates !

Have you considered
Test 250mg wk
Eq 350mg wk
Deca 120mg wk
Anastrozole .5mg eod
Proviron 25mg ed
Tb500
Bpc157

Test and eq complaint each other
Low does deca for joints
Proviron makes all the gear more effective

In my opinion you can run low doses of gear when using Proviron and get better gains than high does with less side effects

Let me know if you would like info on peptides

Well elite family here are my pics as of 4/25/25. Got to say its definitely a little embarrassing to see how I've depleted my body so much over the past few years. But I know at this size I can harness what I need to do and focus in on diet and a well rotuined weight lifting regimen. We all have to start some where and here is the start of my journey. I thank you all for joining me in this long fun road to Hulkness.. lol

If anyone wondering on the chest indentation, I had gyno pretty bad in my early 20s and had a double mastectomy to remove the lumps. Will say had a great surgeon and no complications since then. Just an area definitely need to build on. No need to worry about gyno anymore lol.

Im actually looking for people to try my diet for 90 days to prove it's far superior to anything before it. We have 6 powerful genes within us that helped humanity get through the hard times, their know as the survival genes. With our modern lifestyle those genes aren't needed so they are repressed which has lead to the current poor state health from low test to rampant obesity. I don't want money just the chane to teach people what i believe is a revolutionary diet. Let me know I'd love to help
