40p, 30c, 30f Enough carbs and fats?

My question is a 40p, 30c, 30f ratio good enough to gain muscle or will I need more fats and carbs?

I'm looking to gain some serious muscle without gaining to much fat on my next 2 month cycle. I got this diet off of a site and it looks pretty good.

I am a moderate gainer and my stats are: 5'11" 175lbs 12%bf. I have to keep all my meals clean only getting fats from omegas, olive oil and nuts or I tend to get a belly with one pizza.

Breakfast would be: 6 eggs 75g of oatmeal with raisins.
Midmorning snack: Tinned Tuna in Wholewheat Pitta Breads
Lunch: 2 x Chicken Breasts, 75-100g Brown Rice or Pasta and green veggies
Mid-afternoon snack [Pre-Workout]: protein bar or Whey Protein Shake and a Banana
Post Workout: Whey Protein Shake and a Banana
Dinner: Grilled fish or chicken, brown rice or pasta, vegetables, and salad.
Evening Snack: Casein Protein Shake Protein shake or Low Fat Cottage Cheese (Slow Release Protein)

But when I entered all the foods into "fitday.com" my food calculator program it breaks down to 40% protein, 30% carbs, and 30% fats.

if worried about fat gain just eat 500-800 calories over maintenance and lift HARD and heavy and eat a lot of protein. keep carbs clean.

I think the key is to figure out how many calories that is and then do what the above poster said and try to work it so it's above maintenance..the standard being 500 above. If you're really concerned about fat gain try it for a few weeks at 250 above and see how that goes. At first glance, it seems like a lot of shakes but that's from my own preferences of being able to eat the whole food.

The Ratio is fine, it's just going to be (as roxy said) finding out how many calories YOU need then adding to that. Pretty simple. Keep the food clean and lean and you shouldn't have to worry too much about fat gain.

too many shakes... you will grow a lot faster off of chicken, salmon or beef...
i hate shakes... i only have them in the am because im not hungry when i wake up, but its easy to get in me and stretch out my stomach and i become hungry like one hour later...

But what I've read is that whey protien is a single binding amino acid meaning it can bind to other proteins easier thus creating muscle much faster...
