I may be an idiot here, but shit, why the hell eat clean?
It seems to me that eating alot of protein, alot of fat, and alot of carbs = alot of calories. Let your body dictate your grease intake, while your energy and strength let you know when to up the protein and carbs. Its not a total sin to throw in a Double Whopper w/cheese every now and then.
Once your cycle is done, then get technical and start cuttin like a mofo.
I think part of the reason your burning out is due to being too scientific with the whole thing. You have set such strict guidelines for your self that you are being coming overwhelmed.
