i dont think hoss is serious when he says he wants to quit.
no way is he gonna be able to win his K back if he quits so that would be a dumb idea anyway. bottom line is if you are a bookie you should have fun win or lose here, its not real money. i had a discussion last night at the poker table with some guys who had stories of real life bookie issues. one was in high school and lost 16K to a bookie, the bookie sent some goons TO HIS HIGH SCHOOL to collect and told him he better come up with the money ASAP or else. the next week they all get busted so he gets lucky. another dude said he lost thousands to a bookie and told him to go fuck himself, the bookie is just a bizman with a family and would rather just let it go then bring heat on himself. its pretty nuts in the gambling world in person, so be glad we have this place.
having said all that i think we need to recruit some more bookies to fill in if Hoss isn't having fun doing this. I once walked off the field during a high school football game and got in my car and left..I was pissed that I wasn't getting the ball enough playing RB.. it was all pass, pass, pass every play and i got sick of blocking every play LB's who were 30 pounds heavier than me. true story. I walked off the field during the play and took off my equipment and left it there and got into my car and drove away while the game was still going. i wasn't having fun, the next day i get a call from one of my teammates who said "hey i don't blame you, if I wasn't having fun I would of left too"

My main thing is if "I AM" the only bookie and have no hopes for green, I would expect a little of "recognition"; meaning being able to mod these forums/edit lines/errors etc and take control.
